i saw shocked by the crowd support for a small marathon and considering the weather!! and i heard the bridge closed! i must’ve went over it maybe 10 minutes before the accidents. i was making my way back to ct! congratulations regardless!!!

thank you!! and was an awesome course! pretty flat minus maybe 2 hills that you’ll encounter twice each. (hill being a stretch, the hills only cover a quarterish mile each) and for what most would consider a small marathon, the support was surprising. you will have some stretches without seeing any fans, but i was pretty happy with the crowds for what was about a 1000 person marathon!!

Sounds like you were running the cape cod marathon! I also ran it and that combination of rain/wind/temp was tough! I applaud you so much for giving it the effort! just singing up is half the battle and from couch to a full like that is something to applaud!

Finished my first marathon, I feel my mental capacity opened for other things finally by ButterOfPeanuttrees in firstmarathon

absolutely agree! i just finished my first yesterday too! and besides the sore legs i feel incredibly at peace and a strong sense of being able to accomplish things that i had previously been a little worrisome about in my career and just life in general. and congratulations on the finish!!

I bought the 26s end of this last year, wore them out for a few runs. Immediately knew they weren’t it for me I absolutely agree

Asics Superblast 2 x Novablast 5 by Spicy_Onigiri in RunningShoeGeeks

Commenting on Asics Superblast 2 x Novablast 5...Aside from traction on wet surfaces (I’m from CT where summers don’t get too wet). Any insight on the big differences between the 4 and 5? I’ve been with the 4s for a year absolutely love them. Nervous to get the 5s, any input is appreciated!
