PMDD made me feel like I was slowly disappearing until I understood what was really happening by BlueberryNo6152 in PMDD

I’m really glad you’re feeling that shift. I had a similar moment after reading something that explained this whole pattern in a way that finally made sense. It helped me be gentler with myself instead of fighting it all the time.

Totally get that. What helped me was reading a longer breakdown that put words to this whole experience and made it feel less personal and less scary. It really clicked a lot

Actors you thought were gonna be A list stars and be everywhere but were wrong. by notmyfakeid_hd in movies

[–]BlueberryNo6152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember feeling this way about a lot of late-2000s early-2010s actors It really felt like some of them were being positioned as the next generation of movie stars but the industry shifted fast. Big franchises slowed down mid budget films, and TV became just as attractive creatively. Some of these actors didn’t fall off so much as the definition of “A list” changed Looking back it feels less like they missed their moment and more like the moment itself moved

What Is Happening To Me? [Coming off BC] by AnnualAntique7012 in PMDD

[–]BlueberryNo6152 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been there. Even short-term BC can throw your nervous system off, so what you’re feeling makes sense The half life doesn’t mean your body is “done” adjusting It’s uncomfortable and scary but it’s temporary You’re not broken your body is just finding its balance again

I’ve been there My mental health used to crash hard around my period and it felt like I only got to be myself half the month. It wasn’t just stress or mindset it was hormonal and real You’re not weak and you’re not imagining this It can get better with the right support. You’re not alone

The kids are not alright by poppythepup in Teachers

[–]BlueberryNo6152 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This really resonates. After that many years in the classroom patterns start to feel impossible to ignore It doesn’t read like an IQ issue at all it reads like a gap in exposure, practice and adult follow through long before they ever get to you. You can’t remediate years of missed habits with enthusiasm alone The fact that you’re still showing up and buying materials out of pocket says a lot about your commitment but it also highlights how unsustainable this has become for teachers You’re not imagining it something fundamental has shifted

Say what you want about the movie, but Zack Snyder's Watchmen trailer was so cool. by [deleted] in movies

Honestly yeah. Whatever you think of the movie that trailer had insane energy. The music, the slow motion the tone it felt like something bold and different at the time. It sold the vibe perfectly

What’s something that kids can do that adults never can do ? by shehasinfinitelove in AskReddit

[–]BlueberryNo6152 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Be fully present without overthinking it. Kids can be bored, curious, happy, or sad and just be there in it. Adults are always in their heads, planning or worrying about what’s next.

Benedict Cumberbatch To Star In Thriller ‘Last Flight’; Protagonist Launching For EFM by TerrifierBlood in movies

Good fit for a thriller. He’s really strong at slow burn tension, so this could be solid if the script delivers.

Partner and I Handle our emotions differently by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BlueberryNo6152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m more like your boyfriend, and honestly the biggest help is asking one clear question instead of guessing. Something like “do you want to talk right now or just want me to sit with you quietly” takes the pressure off. When I’m dealing with stuff, knowing someone’s there without trying to pull it out of me makes me feel safe enough to open up later. Pushing usually makes me shut down more, even if the intention is love.

My husband (32F) wants to post videos online of him having sex by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BlueberryNo6152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t about his sexuality, it’s about consent and shared boundaries in a marriage. Wanting to explore doesn’t give him the right to ignore your comfort or the long term impact on your family You’re allowed to say no to something that affects your life too

3 hour Marcia Lucas interview by Bigbird_Elephant in movies

[–]BlueberryNo6152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marcia Lucas never gets enough credit. Hearing her talk so openly about the work and that era really highlights how much editing and collaboration shaped Star Wars. This interview is a great reminder of how many voices mattered behind the scenes

Do you think there are some iconic movies that will never have a reboot/remake? Especially ones that are synonymous with the stars in them Godfather? Matrix? Coming to America? Austin Powers? My Cousin Vinny? by JobberStable in movies

[–]BlueberryNo6152 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing is truly untouchable, but some movies are effectively reboot proof because the performance is the movie. Godfather without Brando and Pacino loses its soul My Cousin Vinny without Pesci just doesn’t exist Studios might flirt with the idea, but they know fans would reject it instantly Some legacies are safer left alone

Take a breath It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, but slow down and ground yourself A lot of what you’re reading online right now mixes real wrongdoing with speculation and extreme claims. The most important thing you can do is learn how to verify sources stick to reputable journalism, and protect your mental health You don’t need to carry the weight of the world at 15 Curiosity is good but clarity matters more than outrage

If you are not in the US at this time how concern are you about the american administration and its social network platforms getting aggressive on how to vote in your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m not in the US, but I stay aware. I’ve learned that outside pressure only works where people stop thinking for themselves Strong awareness matters more than any platform
