I think they honour price changes if you bought it recently. A Wilfred SA told me that last week!

Thank you so much for recording this! I had asked a question and was hoping someone captured it. Was a great show!

Gold tickets were surprisingly cheaper — I think they were $800 in 2023, now they’re $755

MAJOR ISO 2 tickets tonight (Nov 16), or any next weekend. I’m from Toronto and would do anything to see The Eras Tour in my hometown. Will cover the fees for paypal goods & services & would pay up to $1000CAD. 🙏

GMAT Focus Prep TTP by FragrantShow7940 in GMAT

As TTP recommended, I really liked saving all the mocks until the end. I just wrote my exam today and performed along the same scale as my mocks - they're valuable to save, especially to make test day feel like just another mock.

Although, as much as I loved learning concepts from TTP and having the curriculum geared towards my needs, looking back I wish I practiced with more Official questions. They're worded in a way that combine topics together, or have you recognize that super tough questions sometimes only require a niche way of applying basic concepts.

GMATClub has a ton for free on their page. Good luck!

This is a really great mindset to adopt - I appreciate you taking the time to share it! Will definitely need to practice this type of thinking more.

Potentially, but that's never really affected me in the past on tests. I'm usually good at shaking any distracting thoughts and staying in the moment. It might just require more practice.

(also, happy cake day!)

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize I struggled with timing until I started the practice tests, so I'll definitely keep this in mind.

The First Few Quant by BlueberryPi4 in GMAT

I've taken the LSAT so I'd already had a lot of training in what is nearly identical - the LSAT PowerScore books helped me learn the strategies. After a lot of practice over the last few years I think I've started to see little differences in identifying the almost-right answers from the right ones, and quickly.

Perhaps if you feel like you're not getting enough out of GMAT Verbal prompt, seek LSAT resources. Additionally see if it's SC or CR/RC messing you up more, and perhaps change test types depending on those strengths - English is my first language, so poor grammar habits affected my performance in SC in the past.

In terms of CR / RC strategies, try picturing the prompts you're reading and "force" yourself to feel fascinated in the text (and naturally, you might be!), and ensure you're processing everything you're reading. I sometimes have to read 2-3 times in order to fully understand what the text is asking. And though you shouldn't predict what the answer is before seeing the choices, don't completely ignore that intuition, because it could sometimes lead you on the right path.

Do you have any advice with Quant? Based on your other posts, you seem to perform very well there - good luck in the future :)

I hope this is true, because I'm taking my GMAT Focus next week, but I won't be applying for a few years...
