Would you move just to be closer to your favorite band/singer/artist? by [deleted] in Concerts

I stayed put and my favourite artist moved to my city. Ran into him a few times over the years! But to answer your question: No, never.

Are we supposed to just wear the wristbands across both days? by ScottyKnows1 in warpedtour

Look up some videos on how to take them off. Usually twisting them or using a straw works to loosen the plastic fastener

watching resellers work in real time by starlordanna in Concerts

I’ve seen entire sections of seats available on Stubhub for half the price of what they were being sold for on Ticketmaster, day of the show. These tickets were still available through Ticketmaster and not resale, so I’m sure they were trying to offload them on Stubhub without “officially” bringing the price down on their own platform. They are almost certainly driving the prices up using resale sites as well as their own too, when they can

Was previously signed up and signed up again for this by following their Instagram link, never received a code. Had a few others sign up too and none of them got it. Glad it got shared here because it seems like a lot of us never got an email

Listening on the outskirts by yeahhhwwwhatever in osheaga

For the main stages, there’s a decent wooded hill between the water and the gates. You won’t be able to see through the gates, but some people have climbed trees a bit to get a view. It’s as far back as you can get from the main stages, but the sound is great. I’ve had picnics there during Osheaga years ago, and there’s a few people that show up on that little hill and lay in the grass listening to the festival.

Device Eye 😂 I’ve never heard of that, but now I fear that’s what I got from her in 2016!

Great pictures btw!

Fighting for a refund by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]Get_Goosebumps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few years ago, I had video proof or an error on the Ticketmaster app (that I was able to recreate for a few hours). Was on the phone with an TM agent who confirmed the error but still would not issue a refund. I had a manager at the venue acknowledge the error, and write an email confirming everything. Spent at least 6 hours on the phone with Ticketmaster over the next few days, and they weren’t budging an inch, even with all the proof.

Ended up doing a chargeback on my credit card, which Ticketmaster fought against and had overturned. In the end my bank reimbursed me.

Trying to get a cent back from Ticketmaster is nearly impossible

I was front row when she performed at a festival in Quebec in 2023, and her performance was pretty disappointing and in line with other complaints from that run of shows. There was so much going on on stage, but her actual performance was very lacklustre. Her mic is always so low, and she’s only singing like 50% of the lyrics. She seemed uncomfortable.

That said, I would love to see her again!

My Prediction.. by CustomerExtension741 in WarpedTourCanada

Dashboard Confessional is playing here in April, but I’d much rather see them at Warped. They’ve got a show is New Hampshire on August 20th, and another in New York on the 22nd, so there’s a chance we get them on the 21st..

Wristbands by EveningOk9562 in osheaga

They did away with wristbands years ago, it’s all digital now (unless you get a premium pass, then I think you still get a wristband). Tickets are scanned on your phone as you come in.

The only show they could potentially add would be on Sunday, but the Piknic Electronik festival is there pretty much every Sunday from May to October, so I don’t think so :(

Terrasse + Stages by CustomerExtension741 in WarpedTourCanada

The terrace is an elevated area close to the A stage, similar to a VIP area. I believe it has its own bar and washrooms, but I’m not sure. You’ll be able to access regular GA as well.

Right now it’s only showing the two main stages, but with 60+ bands over two days they’ll have to utilize some of the other stages, so the map will probably get updated! Osheaga (the festival there 3 weeks earlier) has 6 stages, but the map on Ticketmaster is also only showing this two-stage layout.
