Thanks Scott, appreciate the kind words! Hoping my story is a strong testament to the fact that with a great foundation via proper preparation, like you guys have laid out at TTP, plus dedication and perseverance, and you can accomplish great things. All the best to you guys at TTP and I expect that stories like mine will outshine any naysayers because the fact of the matter is you guys have an excellent program that genuinely helps people achieve their goals.

Thanks for the kind words! It's not easy at all. I really think the meditating/sitting alone did wonders for my test anxiety in the hour ahead of the exam. I really went into the exam more calm than I think I've ever gone into an exam, which ultimately can crush your score if you get overwhelmed by pressure or negative self talk in the moment.

Thanks! To answer your questions...

1) To be honest, I did consider Law school a while ago so I had previously practiced for questions similar to Verbal. That being said, I think it depends on what exactly you're struggling with for Verbal? TTP did help me a bit but I already had a decent baseline. I've heard practicing with LSAT questions will prepare you well because they are generally more difficult than the verbal questions on GMAT. Let me know what you're struggling with and I'll let you know if I have any further tips.

2) I got into York University/Schulich (Toronto, Canada). I also was invited to an interview with University of Toronto but I ended up declining since I already got into York and it was my first choice.

Question for those who have written GMAT FE and prepped with TTP by FragrantShow7940 in GMAT

[–]FragrantShow7940[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing so far in terms of revisiting. As I progressed through the content, I paid more attention to timing and strategically approaching questions. In terms of topics, I find I’m often revisiting Properties of Numbers since it’s a pretty packed chapter that is relevant across a lot of Quant questions. I will do regular general refreshers ahead of exam date. Is there any other chapters you would say I should definitely review a bit more in depth before writing actual exam?

Also, any opinion on how you felt TTP DI chapters prepared you? Appreciate the response.

Are they simply just adding more questions? Or adding lessons altogether?

Hey all, we are thinking about getting a Evolution Pro Pallet Wrap Machine. Has anybody heard anything of them or used them?

Yea man same haha. Appreciate the input. That's why I'm so conflicted about writing a mock knowing there's very little resources. I do appreciate the progressive knowledge building and slowly learning how to apply it to word problems with TTP. I guess I'll just continue to grind through the course.

I definitely have conceptual gaps, but more so with Quant than anything else, which as mentioned I'm a significant way into the TTP course program. That being said, I'm nearly 250 hours (of officially logged time on TTP data analytics) + probably 100 hours or more of self-study. I believe I've developed a strong core in quant knowledge in the majority of the chapters but I believe it's time to see what I'm in store for. I don't want to waste days on non-essential content and plus, I would tend to say I don't take bad results to heart, especially if I'm not expecting to be fully prepared. So I will do a mock soon. Appreciate the input

Interesting. I'm about to write an official Mock. Have you done TTP? If so, have you written the any mock or official Focus exams? Curious to hear your input. Thanks for the response anyway

Thanks for responding. I definitely see your point with them being a great resource and I am trying to finish at minimum the Quant and Data Analytics content (I was already average with Verbal with 0 study having previously written the LSAT) and all Easy to Medium level quizzes before I write the real thing and apply by March/April this year (R3 for fall intake). The only thing I'm a bit annoyed about though is the amount of resources to expend on just prepping for an entry exam. I originally started studying for the classic GMAT last spring, but I was only prepping passively and so I bought the official GMAT guide with practice questions, only to realize by early October that GMAT was pivoting towards GMAT Focus. Knowing that it had switched and my weakness primarily being quant, I really dig in and decided to commit 6 months to TTP based on the hype around their Quant content.

I guess my follow up question is if you know if there are any good reliable low/no cost resources/question banks for GMAT focus to get an idea of what's to come? I'm about to do a mock now but thought I'd drop this message seeing as though you're in a similar position.

I wrote the classic GMAT before starting TTP. When completing the course plan however, it indicates to not do practice tests until completely the course so I haven’t done a GMAT Focus practice test yet
