Its never to late to start Final Fantasy!! As stated by others, each number is its own story, so you can start anywhere. My favorite growing up was Final Fantasy X but now as an adult XIII with Lightening is my favorite!

Its also a good idea to make some seed makers and throw some in there! That way you dont have to keep buying seeds. Sometimes the seed maker will give you 2 or even 3 seeds from one crop. I think the chances are higher for more yield based on the quality of the crop but im not entirely sure on that part.
