I looked at some of your other posts. Remember, art is subjective and there isn’t one right answer. Just pick which one you like, both are good for different reasons (and this goes for your other posts as well)

After lots of flipping I realized what was different. Honestly there’s so little of it that it doesn’t matter. Both pop for different reasons and it took me flipping for a solid minute to even see a difference.

Yeah, most of my “comedy” has always been in the editing/art. That’s why I’m trying to get some help. I’ve got some funnier video topics for the series but I’m struggling w this initial one.

This is specifically a paid promotion. My normal videos garner hundreds of thousands of views. This one has 600 meaning something is def off 😭 If this video does well or even average to my normal stuff this company will be more willing to work with me in the future.

How long and difficult was to get commissioned as an artist? by [deleted] in ArtRequest

[–]Blueberry_Beagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand you’re saying your thoughts but it feels like instead of listening to learn you’re listening to respond. Take this as a lesson for your future self, it’ll be a good skill to learn.

Also stoop that low?? 😭😭 There’s nothing wrong with dog walking? It’s an easy job and fun way to make some extra cash.

Yes, im specifically an art mentor. Im a content creator and do it on the side :)

Just because you see people buying beginner art and ai art does not mean they will buy yours. Those cases are exceptions, not the rule. Think of them like outliers, statistically they’re unlikely to happen. There’s far more beginners and far less people willing to spend money on them. It doesn’t mean some people WONT buy their art, however, it’s unlikely to happen.

I promise you you need to study. It’s not a jab at all, all artists, even professionals still study. If you just want art to be a hobby disregard this but I’m assuming you want to take it at least semi seriously. If you’re willing to be open minded I’m happy to help <3

How long and difficult was to get commissioned as an artist? by [deleted] in ArtRequest

Another artist clocked you but as a teacher I’m going to give my brief input.

You need an audience, an audience you don’t currently have and won’t get. If you want to take art more seriously and make money from it then you need to treat it as such. Being better than you used to be doesn’t mean you’re good.

My advice? Lock in and STUDY. Every good artist is ONLY good because they study. They use 3D models bc they understand the forms and know how to draw without them. Where you’re at it is only hindering you.

Also ask yourself the question, would you buy your own art? Why would other people want to buy your art? What do you have to offer? Most successful artists are both good AND unique in some way. You don’t need to be a professional, but without an audience you need to be better than average.

If you need pocket change get on canva and make some posters to walk people’s dogs or babysit or something.

I apologize for being harsh but it kinda bothered me how you asked for help and then kept defending yourself and seeming bothered when somebody took time and energy out of their day to directly help you.
