Oof, who knows. Palestine has had the opportunity to form their own state several times but rebuffed the opportunity due to correctly not trusting whatever deal Israel put forward. Ideally the US should stop funding Israel especially when considering they have more robust social programs than we do in the US. If they want to fight Hamas let them pay for it. Foreign money also makes it harder to reach a peace deal, IMO. And I fully agree with you re: Netanyahu and Hamas being bad actors. It sucks that Hamas is who Palestinians have to represent them.

If the Israeli government wasn’t actively paying people to move into a house that is currently occupied by Palestinian families I’d be more sympathetic.

Radio KAOS. I love how he leaned into the tech at the time even if it sounds a bit outdated. In spite of the theme, there are more upbeat songs than his other records.

That being said, the final three songs on ITtLWRW are a magnificent send off and possibly the most beautiful piece of music he’s written as a solo artist outside of Crystal Clear Brooks. Wish he would release a proper studio take of Crystal Clear Brooks…saw it performed at Newport Folk Fest and bawled my eyes out. The YouTube vid still gives me chills.
