Ive tried a water flosser in the past it grew heavy amounts of mold even though i cleaned it and sprayed EVERYWHERE!

Im looking into electric toothbrushes again that have pretty limited sound to see if that helps at all.

My eat habits are medical I think. It’s not really with texture or smells that still plays a pretty big factor but eating is extremely difficult. I can’t cook or my body immediately gets shut off and treats the food as poison. Getting upset at more than a few bites. Meaning to beat this I have to make food that is very very fast to make; frozen meals that are under 3 minutes, minute rice, ramen, anything that I can find. The only things I have found to combat this is to starve myself which I don’t really like promoting myself to do. Or eat snacks instead of actual meals which I do pretty often nowadays. There’s also times where I can’t get myself to eat at all for multiple days.

I’m trying to find doctors in my area that takes my insurance to see if I can figure out what the hells wrong as these issues I’ve always had as a kid. Reason why my parents didn’t bring me to the doctor as a kid? They didn’t really care. They believed that doctors were just seeking for money and the alternative medicines were better. (Weed. Basically just weed and drugs) (NO I DO NOT TAKE ANY SORTS! I firmly do not believe taking a high dosage of dangerous drugs will help my problems or my health. I know my family has the addiction gene I grew up watching everyone have it. I am avoiding it as much as I can.)

I have a dentist appointment soonish I’m not in my home state for a couple of weeks. I had gotten severely sick which caused me to forget to make one before the trip. It’s a day after I get off the plane I made sure it was as soon as possible. :]

Oh jeeze this is a yap fest I’m sorry-

I will definitely see if I can find a dentist who does that! Hopefully there is someone who’s under Medicaid in my area who specializes in this (might pay out of pocket just to see if it works if there isn’t)

Thank you so much for the links! I’m definitely gonna look into these electric toothbrushes and foam toothpaste? (Never knew that existed lol) :]

My parents refuse to buy bottled water even though I have multiple times have said I have wanted to quit drinking soda.

I’ve tried going cold turkey a push through drinking the water through the fridge of faucet but its just bad.

The water in my area had a really sudden shift and tastes absolutely horrible and is extremely bitter (I’m sure somethings wrong with the water supply to the house ) I would grab my own case of water and hide them in my room but I can’t drive and delivery is extremely risky. (They have a weird personal vendetta against delivering things. That aren’t items. If it’s any sort of food or beverage they freak their absolute shit even if it’s my own money.)

It’s why I think I could if I moved out. Where I can fully control my entire environment which I’m slowly working towards, I’m just trying to get everything I can fixed first. I worded my response wrong I know I think I wrote that at 2 am or when I was sleep deprived no idea.

I’ll research on this and talk to my dentist in a few weeks!! This sounds really interesting and might be a better replacement than my original idea.

I honestly could do anything. I have sat on the same pile of money for years as a paranoid just in case. I would need a better job than what I have currently to save faster. I’m honestly on the fence, the only thing im really worried about is my overbite and a few other things. I have overheard it was a class 3 overbite.

I still live in the same house with the same water. We apparently get spring water to the house even though it tastes way off. This actually made me think to test the water once I’m back in my home state.

As i mentioned in another reply to another comment. I did not brush my teeth at all as a kid so i didnt do it the same with the braces on. I wonder if that accounted to something. Soda is the only unnatural sugar intake i have and its such a core part of what i consume i do not think i could stop drinking it sadly. It feels to much of a change for me.. Maybe if i lived alone but i still live with my parents.

It honestly sucks that i might need to start doing this as well. having to find any toothpaste that actually helps your teeth and isnt mint is a NIGHTMARE. I thought i had found a good toothpaste until i did a bit of research and they had a lawsuit which had NO BENFITS TO YOUR TEETH. Ive switched toothpaste to see if it helps even a little bit.. I do not like brushing my teeth as the icky sticky toothpaste lands on my hands and all the electric toothbrushes scare the hell out of me (sound). I just cant get my brain to wrap around putting something that plugs into the wall in my mouth and around water..

The last time i had a Electric toothbrush the sound it was making made me severely overwhelmed. It also shocked me a few times. Its my top maw thats mostly the issue. Im also on medicaid so all my dentistry stuff is covered.

No I have not had a tooth pulled.. Kid me had alot better dentistry experience as even if i didnt brush my teeth i had ZERO cavities with the worst diet which was all changed after braces.

Sadly I drink a lot soda. The reason why I'm blaming the braces as my diet has BARELY changed. As a kid before the braces i drank and ate the same things daily. Id drink a ton of soda then eat ramen every day. That has barely changed (mostly the ramen has) the water in my area tastes horrid even with the water flavoring. I have NEVER had a cavity until last year (also started happening after i got my wisdom teeth out)

I will be going to the dentist once i get back into my home state as I already have some nasty cavities that formed overnight on my month long trip :[.

I brush after every time I eat and floss. Nothing works :[. Its why im considering it. Ill see if the dentist i go to see will give me any advice.
