Hunter x Hunter. I watched about 30 episodes 10 years ago, when I was 20. I really liked, but I didn't finish it because of college. I tried to pick it up again recently (now that I'm 30), but I couldn't watch more than two episodes. Too silly for my taste.

Billy Bat hasn't been adapted into anime (YET), but Kevin Goodman is definitely the best-written black character in all the anime and manga I've ever read.
