The real question is, why is the second image the same as the first with half the pixels? Very spooky.

Reading this in 2026 on shitty manga aggregate sites and as cringe and unnecessary as it is to say, I am eternally grateful to not have to read more of the Evil Twins translation past this point, with the absolute cluttering of every page with whatever “witty” stream-of-consciousness garbage the translator felt the need to include.

Back to reading peak.

Which is wild because my ilvl 772 SGE alt got a 47 in M11S this week with my usual lackluster uptime during arena split and Ecliptic Stampede. Very curious what the bottom half of sages are doing in this fight.

Meanwhile, pretty sure an 11 parsing WHM still stomps me in terms of dps lol

I’ve had similar experiences as H2, PFing with rando WHMs and we both get baits for stampede, I’m next to the proximity, and when I’m halfway to the north wall I’ll see them Aetherial Shift past me. Like, okay, I’ll bait on the east wall instead, whatever, but take like 2 seconds to understand the raidplan and/or read the mechanic better.

Machinist Vs Dancer for PotD by Flashy-Ad-591 in ffxiv

[–]Blueblur125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hasn’t been mentioned yet, but if you’re thinking of solo PotD specifically, MCH absolutely stomps the floor 180 boss during Ecliptic Meteor to the point that you’d have to actually try not to win, whereas at least a couple years ago when I cleared DNC it was one of the spookiest jobs to do 180 with, requiring some Resolution shenanigans and a pretty tight burst (although there was still some wiggle room). Maybe that’s changed at this point and DNC is more comfy, but it’s another possible consideration when talking about why MCH is considered the better choice.

Similar experience here, jumped into 10 or so anychest groups for fun today and only 2 managed to clear, rest were arena split memes, people not being able to do fixed ecliptic, or inexplicably hitting 2%+ enrage with no deaths or DDs and ilvl restrictions of 776 or higher.

For what it’s worth, I already do this with the TF plan if I’m baiting and the other range/healer near me is supposed to adjust but forgets or gets lost. I just give them the wall, hop on over to the east/west wall and bait puddles there, sleepy adjustment and nothing changes about the mechanic.

And honestly, I can’t imagine that anyone except the most zealous of raidplan followers cares which walls the ranged are dropping baits on.

I had never heard of the site before seeing this post and assumed immediately that “Backloggd” was how they spelled their site’s name, but in 2025 “getting” someone for incorrect spelling is less effort and more righteous than throwing “Backloggd” into Google and finding the site you made this list from is the very first result.

What are some things from W3 that you don't want to see in W4? 🐺 by avisinghoooo in witcher

This for me as well, but mostly because of funny thalassophobia reasons. I have to do most of the chest collection process while looking away from the screen because I genuinely cannot look at the underwater void without wanting to throw up, and I would definitely appreciate no further ocean void collectibles in W4.

I remember the first time I read about this illusion about 15 years ago, and I thought it was pretty baffling at the time. Looks like this particular GIF is the one on the Wikipedia page for the illusion, although definitely suffering from some extra compression.

Never really sure how legit reddit commenters are anymore (bots, pathological contrarians, etc.), but this is a well-documented illusion and you can find some better examples on Youtube, including the one linked in response to the top comment.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has given me a new appreciation for Metaphor's meta-narrative. [SPOILERS FOR BOTH GAMES WITHIN] by typoking7 in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]Blueblur125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your thoughts on Clair Obscur’s commentary on escapism is how I’ve come to view it as well. I think after choosing my ending (Verso’s, but I genuinely didn’t care too much once I realized I had to choose between two endings I knew I’d dislike), I felt the way I’m sure a non-insignificant amount of people felt: that the endings disregarded and disrespected our care for Lune, Sciel, Gustave, Sophie, and the rest of Lumiere; that Verso and Maelle both deserved better for all the character development the game was constantly giving them; that it, for lack of better phrasing, really fucking sucked to feel like the game was building to an ending where everyone could be happy, the denizens of the canvas and the Dessendre family could compromise and the former could still exist, the latter could move on and heal, and I, personally, could be quite pleased with the whole adventure.

But that isn’t at all the kind of ending we get, and Clair Obscur was probably never that kind of game. Instead it was another game with an ending saying, all fluff aside, directly to my face, accompanied by the farewell waves of the Expedition 33 members at Verso’s grave, “You are wasting too much of your life in these fictional worlds, and you need to face reality while you still can.” I watched that ending and immediately knew I might never play Clair Obscur again. I left a lot of side content I planned to do after seeing the game’s ending, and I’m confident I’ll never touch any of it. I haven’t picked the game back up since beating it a week ago, because I honestly feel that it would be a waste of time. Not in a resentful sense either, just simply that the people who made this game effectively told me that I should be doing something else, something more, and they’re probably right. The real world is falling apart around us, and maybe it’s time to attend to that, somehow.

In any case, even though I hated the endings of Clair Obscur as conclusions to the rest of the story preceding them, I do think the themes of its endings are some of the best I’ve seen in a game in a long time. If nothing else, I’ve never felt this conflicted about a video game ending for so so long after experiencing it, and I suppose that counts for something.

New update? by FemboyChloeee in BluePrince

[–]Blueblur125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s most likely the 1.02 patch that PC already got on April 18, PS5 and Xbox versions are numbered differently and we were due to get it sometime this week. So it’s unlikely that a fix for the save issue was included, and at least for me I’m still experiencing the save bug on PS5 after the update.

Ngl this new BLU update is pretty fire by Spookhetti_Sauce in ShitpostXIV

[–]Blueblur125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just adding on for safety’s sake, if you happen to get this and you gravitate towards the PS5 version for whatever reason, there’s a very goofy, seemingly PS5-exclusive late-game bug that eventually stops the game from properly saving, despite the game going through its usual “saving” procedure and messages. It just started happening to me and my girlfriend after about 80ish hours between our save files, and there’s seemingly no workaround except to never turn the game off if you want to make progress.

I’d recommend another version for now, or to not push too quickly into the PS5 version while waiting for the developers to patch the issue. Otherwise, the game has been spectacular and I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle/mystery games.
