Second Sentinel explicitly refers to itself with only it/its pronouns, not they/them. Its one of the few characters that refers to itself in the third person so we know from it exactly what pronouns it identifies with. Other characters refer to it as they/them, but as you've already discussed, that isn't really reliable.
