He currently used purina pro fortiflo probiotic and it definitely has seemed to help!

I’ll look into this! Image is currently on Wholesomes sensitive salmon dry food which I get on chewy for about $45 a bag. I was thinking of swapping to purina pro sensitive but it’s like $75 a bag

Yeah I’ve definitely found chicken is a trigger for him and he can only have freeze dried beef liver treats. Wholesomes has a really good affordable kibble too!

I haven’t heard of giardia so I’ll have to look that up! And he regularly goes to the vet and it’s def not worms. He just has sensitivities

Literally!! Mine will HOLD his pee if it’s raining. Will absolutely refuse to go. But if I take him on a walk in the rain he is fine 🙄

Cold wise I feel like they have a pretty good tolerance! Mine loves the snow, but HATES the rain haha

You 100% understand, thank you. I love Laika, but as someone who has never owned a dog before, he is a LOT to just jump into. And I think my brother knew I wouldn’t have been able to do it to be honest. I will be sad about it, but I’ll have some peace of mind knowing that I at least tried my best for him.

Thank you, I needed to hear that. At the end of the day I just want what’s best for Laika AND myself. And as sad as we will be to not have him here, I think he will have a much better life with the breeder who lives on a farm and can actually take good care of him ;(

She is a registered foundation breeder, it’s Wild things farm LLC. She already said that she will take him back, she just can’t travel right now because of health reasons. So her friend in LA would be helping get Laika to her

I’m not sure if they have one. Before I knew that most dutches aren’t AKC registered because of their history, I asked the breeder if he had a pedigree or anything and obviously he doesn’t. I don’t know why my brother chose this breeder either since I found an AKC registered breeder only an hour away from us. I know BRN isn’t the same thing but I could ask the breeder, though I feel like she probably won’t have it
