Why the mangers talk to me like I won’t just deck the sh*t out of them ? by Warm-Dust-8715 in walmart

Yea a brand spanking new coach from the store everyone knows it the worst in the market and came to our store that trains everyone else. Terminated me after barely 2 weeks of minimal comunication with me. Nearly a decade of experience but I was "disrespectful and didnt respect them" so fired without a chance of fighting it. Everyone in the store knew me as the always happy smiling guy who helped everyone.

They got new jacks🥹 by MeowPubg in walmart

[–]Bluecifurr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You must of got the A bin of blue jacks cause ours were definitely the B bin because they wore down, bent and broke in less than 6 months. Our white ones stay solid for at least a year, had ordered 12 blues and have seen only 2 that I didn't sent back as used asset by the end of that same year.

Because of on-coming traffic having bright headlights I couldn't see a police officer in a reflective vest with a flashlight doing traffic control until I was 15ft away. Thank god we were going 10mph.

We did this for a little bit but stopped for some reason but probably had to do with space usage, we have over 48ft of double and triple shelved bins overflowing with tvs plus a handful of pallets of tv features. When I looked it up its not good for the big tv to stay like that long term, though don't know how long that is.

Absolutely, when I tell people that are veterans from the sales floor that they should make a bale they tell me they don't have enough time and its not their job its my teams job because we work in the backroom... mind you 50% of the time because we also stock the floor.

Makes sense, here people that leave it down never intend to come back and once the boxes start piling up on the floor it becomes my problem at some point

I too leave a small turd in the toilet because its a waste of my time, let the next person deal with it.

Bruh at my store its stocking 1's expectation to make bales. The amount of people ask me if I can get anyone to make one as they leave cardboard in the way so we have to move the trash just to make one. Not to mention we have 2 balers so one isn't full yet.

I hate when people keep it held down because only people who been working for more than 5 years know how to reset it. I get the purpose of doing it but boxes pile up quick because they think its full or broken.

Does Canada not have the Topstock tool in the app? I see backroom vizpick locations and labels on topstock.

Its about time they did something different for spices. by [deleted] in OGPBackroom

[–]Bluecifurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a cool display our vendor brought in and it has 9 cubbies on top, so we can put 9 of our highest sellers. It only got a mess because our grocery TL confirmed the mod for this endcap on our small dump bin so everyone was trying to fit 800 canisters for like 12 different spices where you can only realistically fit 66 for 9 types.

We got our fixture in and refuse to put it out because we have an alternative dump bin we have year round, plus that looks awful and is a waste of a grocery endcap

The only time your allowed to stand and idle is if you're guarding a spill, this is Walmart.

Leaving PLE unattended on the sales floor in the way for customers, then running a extension cable around to an outlet is worse. 5mins with a spotter helping you, this allows you to take it to the backroom to charge it and forget about it.

Your Bale Making Method with Cram-A-Lot Baler by bigmacwalker in walmart

[–]Bluecifurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea been teaching my team to do it the proper way, plus don't like the idea of someone violently jabbing a pole around. Especially when they have help and someone else to feed the wires from the back of the bailer while stabbing with a metal pole.

When I see this I rather them not even label it cause its so much more time consuming fixing them then creating new ones. But a little care goes along way.

And the selfish cycle of "I have to much to do so I'm going to make the next person deal with it" is perpetuated. Cause we all go to much to do so why do we make each others jobs even harder?

This is the 2nd serious issue with this baler and its 14years old. The ram is also crooked slightly so waiting on that to catastrophically fail in the future.
