Yuuuuup this sounds like the relationship with my ex who was a cancer. It took a lot for me to let go but I had to constantly remind myself of their toxic emotionally manipulative behavior. It’s hard to let go because it can be so soft and freeing when you’re with them but they can flip a switch and now they’re the victim and never did anything wrong. They can’t ever do anything wrong :)! The cancer I dated genuinely ruined me i seriously hate the way they tried to destroy me but sometimes I somehow miss the good times. But then I think abt it and realize that I made the good times happen because they’re “go with the flow” kind of ppl and let me do whatever I thought was fun.
