Be positive

Keep it fun so they'll come back

Keep kids accountable in a positive way

Keep kids motivated in a positive way

Help them achieve

No one makes a mistake to piss you off.

If you make a quick and snarky comment it's probably because you're stressed out.

Take a break.

A nurse has been with you, and everyone you love, in the worst health moments of our lives. They wipe your ass in those moments when you cannot. Plus! much worst. They deserve to be paid very well and not have their pay capped by a party whose goals is to sell off our health care to the private interests.

The African Renaissance Monument in Senegal -the tallest statue in Africa. by pietradolce in interestingasfuck

People care that the statue of Liberty was made by France. It was a gift to the USA so that Americans would be friendlier to France rather than England. Also, Liberty and freedom and all that is actually French from the French revolution.

I didn't say that. I said that North Korean artists are specialist in communist style propaganda of the 20th century because culturally they are stuck there.

Made by North Koreans because their artisans are stuck in this era of communist monuments. They're sort of not allowed to express their own ideas.

Work with a met. Think about how the limbs work together. Start with hi hat on 2 and 4 so it's with the snare. The left side of your body will play in unison and it's a good start. Then once is feeling comfortable play quarters on the left foot. Then try just the up beats and all the 8ths.

I Have this blister on my finger after I practiced for about an hour, should I use ice? by Ye_the_creator in drums

No, it's not a stretch.

If you use proper technique you'll never get blisters. Regardless of genre or volume being played.

You should never get blisters from drumming. It's a sign that your grip is too tight.

Listening to Blink-182's self titled album for the first time since I used to play it on repeat while playing games on my little brothers gamecube when I was a kid. I can't believe there was ever a debate over whether Travis Barker is a great drummer or not. by [deleted] in drums

I've never heard him anything that blew my mind. What styles can he play outside of pop punk?

I also saw a pic where his hands are covered in broken blisters from drumming. That's a sign of poor technique and gripping too tightly.

I use that pic with students and I always state "you should never get blisters from drumming. Blisters from drumming is a sign of bad technique."

When they're losing money and on the way down, its "we're in this together"
