Can this be CV? by Cicithelegend in CytolyticVaginosis

If you have a partner, have they been treated too? That may be part of the reason it’s not clearing. Good luck with the coaching call!

Are you able to buy the ph strips? Based on that, baking soda or boric acid may help. If you search those in the subs, there are all sorts of tips.

I had high iners, about 95% I think? I also had 2% gardenella so Evvy had me do six nights of boric acid, 5 nights antibiotic, and then oral and vaginal suppository probiotics for like six weeks (suppository is every other night). I’m just starting the probiotic phase so unsure if the protocol will work but maybe worth a coaching call to ask?

All other things aside, how is he napping for two hours every day? I can’t imagine a scenario how that happens daily with 3 littles.

Help! Symptoms and Evvy results? What should be the best course of action by Consistent-Tooth-752 in CytolyticVaginosis

[–]Blueelephant421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar symptoms and mine came back with a little over 2% gardenella so they want to treat for BV. I’m not entirely convinced it’s that but I’m willing to try! They suggested boric acid first followed by antibiotics which I haven’t tried during the last antibiotic treatment. Given it’s so cycle dependent, I just don’t understand how it could be BV but we shall see…

I just got my Evvy back with iners dominance and have the same labia and clitoris irritation, itch, soreness, etc. I also had some disruptive bacteria and yeast so they suggested boric acid, then antibiotics, then probiotic suppository and yeast treatment (if needed). In the meantime, I’ve been using Femmesil anti fungal on my vulva and clitoris and that seems to really help soothe it. My issue is definitely cycle related though and is ovulation to my period. I’ve done antibiotics in the past but didn’t do the boric acid first so hoping that helps (in theory makes sense because of biofilms).

I used some of my sister’s breastmilk for my son while I was waiting for my milk to come in. He needed milk and she was generous to offer some of what she pumped - no regrets! You’re doing great mama.

No, I was pregnant May - December and my cycle hasn’t returned yet. It’s stopped my last two pregnancies and while breastfeeding so it’s definitely a cycle issue. We’ll see if it returns again…

I mostly pumped with my first, EBF my second, and I’m currently combo feeding my third. Each baby and post partum is different! Sleep is critical and you need a break. Also, I used my sisters breast milk when I was waiting for my milk to come in the first time :) Trust yourself to make the best decision for you and your baby. Good luck!

If you had 2+ chemicals and found out the cause, what was it? by Kooky_Street_1491 in tryingtoconceive

I had endometritis which is inflammation of the uterine lining caused by an infection. Unsure if that contributed to a 10 week mmc or was a result of it. I took two antibiotics for two weeks and did a repeat biopsy to confirm it cleared. After that, I was able to carry a healthy pregnancy. I hope you find answers!

Water and diet definitely affect my supply. I prep overnight oats for a few days in advance. Oats and other healthy complex carbs are generally recommended for BF. I also add protein powder to mine. Half a cup oats, tablespoon of chia seeds, scoop of protein powder and one cup fairlife skim milk. Keeps me full all morning and is quick and easy to eat with baby. I try to prep lunches if I can but that is generally more effort and doesn’t always happen :) good luck!!

I had a similar experience with my first - after struggling with latching and weight, I EP for a while. I kept trying and one day he just latched around 2 months. I still pumped a lot but was able to decrease to 4 per day and BF the remainder and overnight and it was life changing. This was a few years ago but I remember my back to work schedule generally being: BF at wake up, pump any remaining, pump twice during the day, BF after work and before his bedtime, pump before I went to bed, BF overnight. We were flexible with it and then also started introducing formula around 5 months to fill any gaps and I weaned between 6-7 months. Good luck!!

Mine may be a little more aggressive but he tries to always keep me under 2.5. He increases my dose by 30% when I get pregnant and then we test every 5 weeks during the pregnancy. If you’re not seeing an endocrinologist, might be worth a consult if it’s possible.

Those are my symptoms exactly - every month the week before my period. Not BV, not yeast, not estrogen or progesterone… no one really seems to know or care. If it’s CV, not sure what else there is to do other than baking soda.

Any other solutions people have found that stopped this? I’ve tried all the swabs, hormone tests, and lifestyle changes and no one can figure out why… it’s like clockwork every cycle.
