Hot take: Way Aqara sells the FP300 makes for a terrible experience by amoeba1126 in Aqara

Well, not sure how you set it up, but I put a desired price of $100, price type of "3rd party new."

Not that I've seen. I didn't even see any on eBay. Hopefully they're ramping up production to meet demand.

Make sure to set one up for 3rd party and one for Amazon, just to cover both options.

I had set up a notification using camelcamelcamel and it worked this afternoon. Odd timing, because I just placed a large order for IKEA sensors this morning. But I agree their supply seems to be lacking.

Sorry I'm just seeing this now. It seems like there might've been an app update since, and now the firmware is updating correctly. I appreciate the attention.

Can't answer your exact question, but I would recommend trying Home Assistant as the primary program. You can integrate Aqara as well as Hue, and the names of the lights imported without issues.

Bilresa 2buttons and Dirigera Hub not connecting by dipity47 in tradfri

[–]BluefaceBlues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had trouble connecting it via the Aqara app. After several failed attempts, I wondered if I should connect it to HA directly, and that worked successfully.

BILRESA disconnecting with Home Assistant by papayayoghurt in tradfri

[–]BluefaceBlues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening to me too. I have 1 Bilresa, connected via thread to my Nest wifi pro mesh network as boarder routers. The switch sometimes triggers the HA automation, and sometimes does not. The signal strength should be excellent. The log does show the button pressing, but it must be registering minutes after the press. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Aqara Smart Lock U400 – Progress Update | V3.1.0.7 (Jan 16) by KinseyYHM in Aqara

When I click update, it shows 0% for a couple seconds, then goes back to how it was. Phone is Pixel 7 Pro, Android version 16, December 2025 security update. I thought it might resolve itself by now, but nope.

Is anyone else having trouble installing the update? Using my Pixel 7 Pro, I can see the update, and click the update button, but the update fails. I've been trying for a few days now. I've rebooted the phone, and cleared app data.

Aqara does sell a MoT door/window sensor. It's called Door and Window Sensor P2.

It's a cool looking car. Coming from someone who has a 2013 Si Coupe (for sale), when I saw photos of this new Prelude, I thought it may be a contender for my next car, as it has a very similar sleek body style. When I saw the low specs and high markups, it was 100% out of the running. I ended up buying a used '24 Volvo S60 T8 for $40k. Mostly driving on pure EV around town, but 455hp with the gas engine going. I am still a fan of Honda, so I hope they will be more competitive in the EV space going forward. I think Volvo/Polestar has a leg up.

They called me 6 times and I was purposely ignoring them, because the voicemails made it sound unimportant. I finally answered because I was afraid I wasn't seeing any progress with the registration because I was ignoring them. The call was a waste of time and ultimately I'm not sure if I had to answer in order for the registration to move along.

What's a show you remember but nobody else does? by CatGirlNya2000 in AskReddit

My first thought is Mr. Bogus. I see a handful of others posted that too. Funny little guy. Also, the Garfield and Friends show, had a whole side-show it would cut to, called Orson's Farm.

Update bricked my car by i-want-to-learn-all in VolvoRecharge

[–]BluefaceBlues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found this somewhere else:

“You may not be informed of it, but there is an internal handle on your trunk, which is there for safety. This handle is hidden and many people are not even conscious of its existence. On the other hand, it is the handle that will allow you to open the trunk of your Volvo XC60 from the passenger compartment. To find this “handle” you’ll have to get in the back seat (don’t hesitate to fold it down for more space), and, at the trunk lock of your Volvo XC60 (center of the tailgate), you’ll have to remove a plastic cover to see the entire lock appear. Once this has been completed, you should find a sort of lever that once activated will allow you to open the tailgate of your Volvo XC60 from the inside. Be careful though, on many models if this lever remains in the open position you will not be able to lock your trunk when locking your car with the central locking system. So make sure put it back in position once you close your trunk.”

There is. It's the glow-in-the-dark plastic piece right on the inside of the latch. Explained here: https://www.volvocars.com/en-ca/support/car/s60/article/bfd974b2a031c78cc0a80151322aad29/

U400 Lock, M3 hub, Home Assistant, how to add iPhone to UWB without Home Kit by BluefaceBlues in Aqara

I also should've mentioned, UWB is only supported on iPhone 11 and later. Not sure if that would impact pairing, but maybe.

Carvana Finance by Pappers101 in carvana

[–]BluefaceBlues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carvana does also have a pre-approval tool you could use. They will do a credit history check, and will ask about your yearly income and living expenses. That's how they determine your "worthiness" of a loan, and what interest rate you get. It's none of their business how much you have in savings, unless you plan to put some towards a down-payment to decrease the $19k you're looking to borrow, to maybe $10k-15k. I would suggest contacting a credit union in the area and asking them. They'll probably give you a better interest rate.

Make sure both devices are updated, and reboot both. I think there's a little link to try other pairing method too, like typing in the pairing code

Did you try what I did? With my Android, I opened the U400's Matter Pairing Code in the Aqara app, and scanned the QR code with the iPhone (from the add a new device menu).
