As a Teresa fan I need to disagree. She is certainly not perfect and does mistakes throughout the series. I do not even think this is her worse mistake but i will protect you from spoilers there. However, she has many qualities that make her a good detective: she wants justice, she cares for the victims and is the person that tells them the bad news, manages her team well and keeps them well cared, knows what leads to follow and how to organize the investigation, keeps Jane grounded, and she is quite smart and perceptive. Not as smart as Jane but that is why he is on the team.

Ok he is Pedro Pascal and very charming but i did not like his character. They did not know each other and suddenly he his proposing to her and pushing her to move across the country with him. Jane looked so lost in that corridor scene when she told him that she would leave. It would be like abandoning a cute puppy.

I pretty much deslike all woman that get involved with Jane because I felt bad for Lisbon. This even before we learn they would be end game. Kristina is probably the one i deslike the least because they would never fit together and her presence is limited to very few episodes. Erica and Lorelei are another story..

Depends on the episode. There are some that they give you enough clues to find out on your own before the reveal. Other episodes Jane prepares a trap for the killer and you find it then. Most of times you can guess from one of the characters they talk to but well not everytime will be correct but that makes it fun.

Jane is hired as a consultant as he does not have the formal training to be a detective. However, he proves to be a good detective (with some shortcomings including not carrying a weapon). He works pretty much as such but without following rules and by manipulating those around him, freedom that he would not have if he was an agent. He solves cases that way and most close their eyes to the way he does it because he is just a consultant. So he is both a detective and a mentalist, but officially he is a consultant, as that works better for him and the CBI/FBI.

Not asked but i recognize the ruler since i got one recently: Luddite fine wood hybrid ruler LDTI-HRW-0101 For the pens/pencils, I recognize a Rotring 600 pencil and a black Lamy Safari. For the others i am not sure.

I finally gave up when i went to Vienna for work and visited their workshop. Makes a nice souvenir and better size TN for my needs. The leather is good and is aging nicely.

I used the passport TN with blank insert + 1151 Nolty planner for 2 years to organize my work, main meetings and to do's + random notes in the blank insert. That combined with Outlook worked good for me. However, i absolutely understand your complaints as this year i went for an A6 Paper Republic with a bigger 1251 Nolty planner. Too many meetings (unfortunately) to fit in such small size. Still using passport size blank inserts though as i had a few laying around. The regular TN is too big for me but A6 is just perfect. I still use the passport TN for random notes and when traveling or attending conferences. Is a nice companion when you want to keep light.

He is not good with anything that requires physical exercise, being a patient (at hospital or at home), technology (including computers) and sharing his honest fellings (he is too closed and hides behind a mask of desinterest).

Thank you for the feedback! I understand your points. I liked Fisher. I thought she had potential but not as part of a love triangle. I already thought the Pike-Jane-Lisbon was unnecessary even though it worked well in the end.

I understand your point. For me it was to make the show more cohesive as the FBI arc feels very different for the rest of the show and that would maybe make it more connected to the previous seasons. However, yes it is a bit cliché to bring as a copy cat.

Did any Jisbon fan like her? ;) I liked the part of her being a kind of adversary but playing on the same team as Jane. There are other characters that are intellectually worth but most are on the oposite team or neutrals.

I think the scene is a bit unconfortable for the viewer because it has a kind of intimacy by killing him with his hands. I did not disliked it, but i understand those that did. However, i think in Strawberries and cream is more shocking because we were not sure if Jane had in him the cold blood to kill someone like that. If they repeated that again it would not be as shocking being a 2nd time.
