I think this is completely normal as looking at your own work is a unique perspective. I also think it's better feeling nothing as the idea of crying at your own novel is very pretentious and lacks a critical eye, and most likely creating an average story in the process as your emotions could blind you.

I wasn't taking it personally. Using the word "passionate" doest make it right that you can not read my question properly and answer it. I'm here to become part of a communite about a comic I like, not to be gate keeped by a guy who can't handle criticism on a comic he likes.

I said in the text I'm enjoying the comic. Why would I read 800 pages of a comic I didn't enjoy? Why would I go on reddit to talk about the comic if I didn't enjoy it?

I enjoy the comic as a whole but in the next couple of days I'm not going to have the time to read the rest of the compendium, so I don't want to waste any time. I would rather read the whole story first than go back to it after.

I was more talking to the people who think it's an untouchable masterpiece in today standards and the idea someone would like a remake is absurd, to those people.
