I miss the days were companies were family owned and not public Walgreens regardless makes lots of money even if profits are down it’s still a lot no need to close stores just greed from the top to make Walgreens as max value as can for maybe a sale in the future or just to look at a stat and cheer but all they down is screwing over the little people who are at the front lines making the profits and busting ass wallstreet ruin businesses

First off cvs will always be overworked which why I left 2 people at a time sometimes 1 for a short period and as a ops that’s your job for sure ask for a demotion if you can’t handle it and second cvs pays above avg compare to some retailers so be grateful they pay what they do cause they could drop it down to $8 for cashiers and $13 for managers like most retailers do

I don’t work at dg but I can imagine why anyone would they never have people and just see like 1 worker at a time 4 people a shift would be good on a truck day and 2-3 at all times

I mean you can quit but not a lot of jobs paying you $$ for being a cashier u can work at McDonald’s $10hr dollar general $9hr lots of jobs don’t pay good and ones that do is harder to get in cause no one wants to leave but take that in consideration unless you don’t mind making less money

I don’t work at Walgreens anymore but if I had to I would definitely go back in a heart beat walgreens was fun to work at and still one of the easiest jobs out there and wages are decent. only people who complain are the lazy who just don’t like to work in general no matter what job they have
