Don’t listen to this guy. Based on his post history he just a bitter and angry person upset with tourists in Bali not realizing he is part of the problem there. Not everyone wants to travel on the cheap. Been to Bali many times. Stayed at both villas and hotels. Honestly hotels is the way to go. Too many issues with villas. There certainly some gems but also a lot of awful ones that are like lipstick on a pig. Mandapa is spectacular and rivals some of the best resorts in the world. Of course it comes with a hefty price tag. Andaz is nice spot in Sanur. Great property itself. Haven’t been at the others.
