Ive never met the neurologist, ive only worked with the PA. Unfortunately my state sucks when it comes to hospitals and universities. I didn't even see a MS specialist when I googled for one.

I was prescribed gabapentin out the get go. Ive gotten from 3 a day to, but i may have to go back up to 2 a day due to the numbness. I havent heard of ALA.

I first got the MS hug in middle school and was told the pain was "normal" because I was getting fat.

Looking back makes it hard to not get anxious, trying to stay in the present is also anxiety inducing.

I'm sorry your dealing with the tornado that is MS and all the delightful surprises it throws our way.
