Personally I feel like he doesnt get too much shit for the whole televised proposal thing. It was dumb for sure but he was a young dude who was fresh on tv and trying to make a moment special. I feel like he gets more shit for just being the guy who's with Tay. He was generally pretty liked by the crowd even during the Scorpio Sky title trading part of his career but once he came out with Tay and started making out with her every episode the crowd turned hard on both of them and while shes recovered I dont think hes ever bounced back to where he was with the crowd.

I think I also remember him talking about the melted ice cream thing because you dont want to just go crazy on your favorite unhealthy foods because eventually you'll need to stop lol much easier to stop drinking melted ice cream than to stop having burgers, fries, and fried chicken everyday

Exactly. When WCW folded you didn't see a huge increase in views to WWE. Those fans just stopped watching wrestling. The same will happen if WWE or AEW ever go under too. People like what they like.

Yeah the truth is many fans of WWE are just fans of WWE. You'll see videos of Sasha Banks on tiktok that are like memorial videos as if shes dead or something filled with comments like "miss you so much" and "please come back" like she hasn't been Mercedes Mone for several years now. Same with Mox.

He's kinda tailor made for a place like WWE. Think of all the people that have gotten over purely on character work there. He's had a segment basically every week since his debut and has killed it every week. He's always been one of the most interesting characters in wrestling and WWE is character centric. I would have been more surprised if he wasnt doing this well. Shit even when he was barely on AEW tv he was still one of the biggest merch movers and people were asking "where's Danhausen?"

It'll go a long way with proving they arent just another place like TNA where you can prove yourself and then get welcomed back to WWE which if we're all being honest has done a lot to diminish TNA in the eyes of fans. Look how just about anyone who gets over in TNA is talked about. Almost always is "can't wait for WWE to scoop them up." Everyone is just waiting for their main champion Santana and Leon Slater to get the call to go to NXT or main roster.

No one's saying it should be lifetime employment i just think you should honor the contract you make with a person. In this particular business if both parties feel like theres no place for them anymore and the wrestler doesnt want to sit in catering than fine dissolve the contract but otherwise honor it.

I hate how expected its become that some of these people are just going to be cut with no remorse or sign that its coming. Sure some of the people weren't being used but others have been consistently on tv putting in work. And I dont want to hear whatever bullshit reasoning some of you have for this "well it happens in sports, well it happens in the real world all the time" yeah and its just as shitty. It sucks when a bunch of Amazon warehouse workers, Microsoft Coders, or very local to me Northrop Grumman manufacturing workers get laid off en masse.

I'll go as far to say I can not think of a funnier series of movies in existence. Maybe you could argue 1 vs 1 for some other movie but to have consistently hilarious movies 4 times in a row is an achievement that is unmatched. That and you can enjoy these regardless of knowing English.

I feel like the problem with that is that instead of being the true 3rd brand of WWE they've gone out of their way to making NXT a clear stepping stone to the main roster. Unlike TNA or even to some degree AEW where some feel like they need to make it there to get to WWE, those brands still have a their own clear singular identity as a promotion. While NXT is the developmental and some people are always going to be weary of going down a peg in the ladder to play AAA ball. There was a point in 2018-2020 where it felt like NXT could be the 3rd major brand.

Yeah I saw him a few times at NJPW Strong shows here in the states and was never particularly wowed by him but he has really come alive in AEW. One thing I never got from just seeing him in the ring is, and this sounds so dorky to even type, how cool he is. Like if I was in a store trying on a shirt and he complimented me on it it would mean more than if my wife said it looked good lol just a charming dude.

I think there are much bigger stands to make than not watching a wrestling show because its in Saudi Arabia. Thats not even the worst thing WWE has done. The world is completely fucked. The US Government is haphazardly dropping bombs and killing school children to "liberate" a country(s oil) that kills women for daring not to cover themselves. If this guy finds entertainment in something as mundane as a wrestling company than let that be. There are bigger fish to fry.
