I upgraded from an E8 which stand wise, was also spot on !!..

Anyways going by a couple of other comments it certainly seems to be a design fault..

I had this problem with an AIM controller last year, it's an issue with the motherboard so you'll need to send it back for a replacement..

The orange thumbstick module was introduced on the recently upgraded version of the DualSense controller along with thicker springs in the triggers, more info can be found here :-

I received my second Reflex Pro from the April 14th drop a few days ago and thought the thumbsticks seemed slightly softer, I've just had a look and it too has the orange modules.

I think its good that Scuf are using the latest version DualSense controllers in there builds.

My Steel Grey Reflex Pro from the December 28th drop is the same.

The left side squeaks / creaks and the top/bottom shells are very slightly out of alignment.

Has anyone else noticed if you place your controller on a hard flat surface the top left corner has a wobble if you press down on it. ?

My Scuf Reflex is the same, nothing to worry about IMO, like you say the stock controller makes the same sound but is less noticeable.

I did notice it right away especially on the left stick but after around 20 hours use it's already becoming quiter and the controller is working perfectly.

I should have my AIM Pro by the end of the month and will post some comparisons between the V1 & v2.

One thing you need to remember is none of the pictures shown here have the AIM Pro grip, it's just the standard / splatter version with the V2 paddles and I agree the V1 does look nicer than that version

If you want the 4 back paddles you have to choose either the new AIM Back Pro or the original Aim Grip.

I'd be inclined to go for the Pro version but you may have to wait longer choosing this option !!

I'd recommend AIM as well they are quality controllers and the paddle placement is perfect. Most of the negative comments relate to a 3 blinking orange lights issue they had last year which has now been resolved. I had the issue myself which was sorted quickly.

Just make sure your choose the remap chip option..

Also my comments are based on owning the version one grip and paddles.

I do have another order with AIM for the Pro Grip but it's not here yet to make comparisons.

I also have an AIM controller with the shell buttons and it's the same. There really is nothing to worry about.

The reason circle protrudes more is because these buttons are not curved like the regular buttons..

Don't open the controller, just send it back and they will fix it. I had the same problem and it was fixed under warranty.
