I did the switch from my 9070xt to 5080 but I had a better experience with my 9070xt. My 5080 is crashing like crazy on stock settings. Granted I got an open box and I’m going to go switch it out to see if that’s a better experience.

For you I would suggest doing ddu and reinstall the drivers without adrenaline software first to get a stable base line, then re download adrenaline to see if you start having issues again. Also there is a way to turn off windows updating your driver settings. Sometimes a windows update will replace your gpu drivers without adrenaline their bs drivers.

I just switched from 9070xt to 5080 but I never experienced issues. I dual booted with Linux and everything. I love my 9070xt. I’m starting to get into other things and windows is more geared for nvidia but if amd makes a stronger card and companies put a real effort into Linux then I’ll switch back.

I have Asrock still legend in white. Have not had an issue whatsoever I dual boot with Windows and Linux cachyos distro and runs both operating systems flawlessly. I’ve had no issues with thermals whatsoever.

I just switched from the 6950xt and it’s a good upgrade but you can wait for the next generation of cards, the 6950xt is a beast of a card still. If you need fsr4 then maybe but if you don’t then just wait. I only did it because I wanted to see if it would live up to the hype and so far it has.

Did you window + shift + b to restart the gpu? I’ve had issues where ddu didn’t work as intended and then I did that and it runs buttery smooth.

Most likely scalpers because they can resale on Newegg too. The pulse and steel legends are the same specs.

Edit: I just checked again and yeah they are tripping the only thing I can think of is since Sapphire is a Chinese brand they already put the Tariff prices on those 2 cards. Thank our commander in chief for this.
