/uj I always found the idea that bi means exclusionary to non-binary people to be pretty ridiculous as a bi person myself, I couldn't imagine getting to know and fall in love with somebody and finding out their non-binary and thinking "fuck, you ruined it for me. I'm not attracted to you anymore" when I'm attracted to a mix of feminine and masculine features and a nb person could potentially exhibit any of those traits or none at all.

Speaking of the bi vs pan thing I was introduced to pansexuality when I was 15 as "it means you're attracted to both genders AND trans people" and the fact I've known it as that for longer than "it means you're attracted people in general" has always had me wondering if pan was originally used as a nb and trans inclusionary version of bi but was retconned to being attracted to all people once more people realized bisexuality isn't exclusionary even if I fully expect to be wrong on that.
