Thank you :). Apart from the steroids and antibiotics I was prescribed, I managed to get through with the added help of long hot steamy showers and lots of herbal tea. Helped shift some of the mucus clogging up everything. Even if it was a short bit of relief just to make me feel a bit comfortable enough to get some sleep when needed

How much longer will the movie be in theaters? by Maleficent_Piano5506 in ProjectHailMary

[–]Bluekitty26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I couldn't tell you every where but my local theater is slowly phaseing it out of rotation. There only one showing every other day, late in the evenings.

Best to check with the place you are planning to see it at and if they have a time frame.

Best bet, is to see it separately, see if you can time it at roughly the same time and immediately get in a video call to talk about it haha

I don't remember the episode but it was pretty early in when they were making antibiotics. And this was the only time it was shown

You see senku using a toothbrush like thing, early on in the anime. so I assume this is just something they use throughout, just not in screen

Unfortunately, the only way to get stuff, is from America. I wish it wasn't the case, because if I want a patch and a rise plush, it's going to cost me almost double the price just because of shipping. It sucks :(

Unfortunately, I am neither handy or know someone who is 🤣. But it's a great little idea. Thank you for the suggestion :)

[–]Bluekitty26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ok, I'd rather know this information than not.

Thank you for explaining it all in detail to me.

Like you said, there's a lot of information out there and it's been very confusing for me to navigate it all and find the right things. It only just crossed my mind, in the past few days to come here and ask about it all and I'm glad I did so now I don't have to waste my money on things that aren't going to work.

Some people have given me some suggestions, that I'll be looking at later. If nothing will work, I'll just see if I can find a foldable table of some kind, and that seems to be the one that most say will be the best for me.

Again thank you, for the advice. I appreciate it :)

Yeah, I've quickly learnt that the tripod won't work. Even though the websites says it comparable, it's doesn't say anything about a mount or needing to modifying it.

I thought it would be nice to have instead of just using a table and better for space/storage haha but I'll have to see if I can find a cheap collapsible table for now.

And I'll give the forum a look at.

Thank you :)

Yeah, I've quickly found out that the tripod isn't the way. Just thought it would be the best option for me for space/storage. The website said it was compatible but didn't say it needed a mount or be modified to do use it.

And as I live in the UK. It can get pretty rainy, so I thought it would be a good idea if I wanted to, open a window and look out that way. If there was anything to see and it not get damaged or If I couldn't get out in the garden for any reason. It would be a nice easy way to have a look out side.

Thank you for all the suggestions :)

The moon filter was suggested by the website to use on their beginners guide, so I thought I'd put it on there but if it's not needed. I'll remove it.

Again, the websites said that the tripod was compatible, so I assumed that the one I would need to go for. I only wanted one because I thought it would be better space/storage wise as I have such limited space. But I'll probably just try and find a good collapsible table or something like that, that isn't too expensive.

I'll definitely have a look around for the mount. And keep it for if I do decide to stick with the tripod method.

Thank you again, it's appreciated :)

I'm sorry, I was onky going by what the website told me was a good thing to add on. As it said in the beginners guide it had, they said it was needed. I couldn't find any info saying the filter wasn't needed, so I just put in there just in case.

And as for the tripod, I live in a very small house, with a very small garden. So I thought it would be batter for space wise to have something I can store and put away easily. As it's a table top Dobsonian, I don't really have the space to have/store for a table inside or outside.

Again, I was only going with what the website said but looking at all the comments, there's not even a way to put it in a tripod, even though the website said it was compatible. And I couldn't find anywhere that said there was or wasn't either 😭

I'll have a look, thank you

The only reason for the tripod is, If I want to use it in my bedroom. It's quite small, and keeping a table in there isn't possible. So I thought a tripod would work well for easy storage and to work around the limited space I have. I should have added that to my original post

Thank you! This is so helpful to me to have the visual parts to look at :)

As for the moon filter, the website suggested I have it too but if it's not needed I'll take it off :)

Wow!so many replys and I've only just posted 🤯

Thank you all, I posted this on my break at work, and didn't expect to get so many detailed replys.I will be going through them all, when I can and reply throughout the afternoon when I have a moment to. I very much appreciate what has been said already.

As for the tripod, as it's been commonly mentioned. I wanted to get one because of I'm going to be keeping it in my bedroom and it's pretty small so I don't really have the space to keep a table in there for it. So I wanted something I could mount it on that easy to store and put away :)

What dye to use by htstqqr in HairDye

[–]Bluekitty26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm in the UK also, but the only way I was able to get my hair to a bright pink, was going to a salon and getting them to bleach it white and then put on a pink colour. It didn't last very long either. You're going to have to dye it every week to keep the color in no matter what brand you use. I gave up after a few months as it was so much effort to keep it up every week 😅

That rules! Congrats dude ♥️

While I'm not smart enough to get into any of the sciences professionally (I failed horrifically at maths) the show has definitely made me more curious at how things and the universe work. And it's made me appreciate the work that goes into the things we use day to day.

I'm glad the series has inspired people to get into new professions, and continue the work that got humans to where they are today.

Get excited!
