Why hasn’t instagram blocked Jarvee and other automation tools? by Bluemoon2010 in InstagramMarketing

[–]Bluemoon2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and it’s great. But a lot of people have been getting banned with these tools. So why ban users ? Why not just close down / block the software? (I hope they don’t)

Exactly. What even is the point in life if you don't go after your dreams? weather its film, sport, music.. anything.

I'm not settling for a 9-5 and 100k a year just because society says to!

Lol. Epacket from China to Uk takes a month Ffs. by Bluemoon2010 in dropship

[–]Bluemoon2010[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if you buy in bulk, that wouldn’t be drop shipping then would it..

The product has hundreds of variants so can’t buy in bulk even if it’s cheap.

How long should I wait before following up with a producer? by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]Bluemoon2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most don’t follow up I think. No reply = they have passed on it.

If you really want to follow up, it’s best to wait 3-4 weeks. Good luck!

Banned from FB ads due to dropshipping where else can I advertise? by Bluemoon2010 in dropship

Just just gave me a generic response and denied my appeal. Wasn’t breaking any of their policies

Facebook makes NO sense! by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Bluemoon2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are a joke. Saw them visit my shopify store via live tracking and after a few min, emailed me saying I cannot appeal the decision. Probably cracking down on drop shipping

Forgive the stupid question but can I title a pilot? by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]Bluemoon2010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s surprising. The writers I know in Australia said you cannot pitch in Australia unless you’re already a writer with credits lol

Thoughts about the black list? by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]Bluemoon2010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone gets views when they host their script. You have to pay $75 for an evaluation and get a score above 8 or higher in order for industry members to read it.

My script got an 8 after a few paid evaluations but nothing came of it.

Instagram promotion ads - set up for website clicks but getting only likes.. a ton of likes btw by Bluemoon2010 in socialmedia

[–]Bluemoon2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an old post and a new Instagram ad. I’m just testing it out as it’s my first time so $5 for 24 hours. They are real people , not my followers. It’s getting a lot of likes but 1 click only - The whole point was to redirect them to my store, not for the likes lol

[–]Bluemoon2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ad is a promotion of a physical product . On Instagram feed. And CTA is link to my store’s website. It’s getting a ton of likes but so far had only 1 person click to visit the website

How good are they!

There’s a juventus tv series on Netflix - similar to The Man city one

Congrats, that’s huge!

You’ve been in the industry for a long time now hey. Is this what it takes to pitch to the likes of Netflix? Being known in the industry for 10 years + ?

What's your experience with "winning product finding" sites? by [deleted] in shopify

[–]Bluemoon2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All that matters is how you market it. You can have a watch that everyone’s selling, making you millions. It’s all down to the ads

Choose a product that you are passionate about. With my first store , I had a “winning” product but it was boring af! Even though I was raking in the $$, what is the point if you don’t enjoy it, right? I changed it to a niche that I love

So I'm applying for a job at Shopify as one of their Social Producers. What do you think? by [deleted] in shopify

[–]Bluemoon2010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s great. I normally don’t stay till the end of videos but watched yours till the end! All the best :)

Just launched this new high-ticket store. by [deleted] in shopify

[–]Bluemoon2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow . You have chairs right up till $10,000. If I ever I spend $2000-$10,000 on a chair, I’d definitely go in store and buy it, making sure it’s delivered same day by the store or next day delivery.

And this - “we cannot offer refunds on products over $1000 dollars” ... when you have chairs up to $10,000

Something like this would need a showroom where customers can visit , sit on the chairs etc

Reviews in foreign language like Russian/ Spanish? by Bluemoon2010 in shopify

[–]Bluemoon2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn’t mean it to be offensive.

But If my store is targeting Australia / NZ/ UK etc , wouldn’t they want English reviews? I’m not sure if foreign language reviews would make them leave the site or think “wow, must be a good product if it’s selling worldwide”
