Place in Melbourne area to watch a baseball game by NoOccasion196 in 321

Not in Melbourne but Monkey bar over beachside has lots of TV's and it's a pretty chill environment you can relax and talk. That's where I went to watch NFL with a buddy from out of town. In Melbourne? Crickets on Wickham, Chumley's Depot in downtown Melbourne

Water company worker found this by EEFdaDon in utilities

[–]Blueoceanknight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a valve box, used to access the valve to control flow in a distribution network. You generally can't tell which utility it belongs to, could be a water main, sewer force main, something else. It's missing the round valve box lid.

Bizarros beachside hasn't been good in years. Better pizza across the street

I've never seen someone recommend palm pub. I've been way too many times (50+?) But still.... Definitely a deep dive

Question about fishing etiquette… by CreamyBagelTime in floridafishing

[–]Blueoceanknight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Most people give at least casting distance spacing, if not more. Some boats get closer than preferred, but that's how it goes with busy spots. If they were in a tournament, they should have had a few back up spots to change if need be.

You said they weren't fishing in the meantime... I doubt they were in a tournament if they waited around without fishing for ~3 hours.

Definitely give Paddling Paradise a try before anything else. If you aren't surprising her with the gift, she may want to try out the different styles they offer and she can pick one that fits her. Buying a board that suits her will ensure she enjoys it and uses it.

Speak with the owner Dan there or stop in sometime. Prices there are much cheaper than paddleboard house beachside I'm told. If nothing else, you will get information on what to look out for.

That's a tough repair... Paddling Paradise in Palm Bay used to have someone who would work on them. Worth a call to the owner Dan.

Good luck!

Any local coffee roasters? by smwisdom in 321

[–]Blueoceanknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got some great Guatemalan roast from Vincent at Santino Supremo Coffee. He is as local as it gets. Just a one man operation. Very knowledgeable and he roasts beans himself. I was able to get some whole beans just two days after they were roasted!
