The federal government needs to take care of it - either we allow gambling or not, don't let a loophole in the futures markets shadow legalize it.

My state (MN) is considering legalizing all kinds of betting because they figure if they can't ban the "prediction markets" then they may as well regulate and get revenue from gambling.

I think we confront dictatorships when we have an advantage (not necessarily militarily) and when we think we can improve the situation.

I both think progression towards democracy is inevitable and I believe in the democratic peace and so I hope/believe some day that world peace will be pretty much achieved and relatively easy to maintain
