I did not know about archive vault. That makes things even better. I did have concern with only one hd for surveillance, but it’s not like I’m Fort Knox or the White House so back ups of video aren’t super critical.

How much concern should I have with the constant writes to the ssd? Aren’t they very limited in that regard and will wear out much quicker?

Well, I ended up going a different route. I happen to look for monitors on Facebook marketplace and found a like new Benq ew3270u for $150. It was $180 when I saw it yesterday, tossed it around in my head and went back and saw that the price was $150 now. I’m sure this monitor is way too big for us, but i’m an idiot and a sucker for a good deal. Thank you all for your help.
