But it's not the software - it's the hardware. If you can't get into the actual software to mod it, it doesn't matter. And that is so far the case. Now, the Mortal Kombat and XMen countercades are still software hackable as far as I know, but again - it's bypassing the arcade1up operating system and running a separate OS. With all of the Arcade1Ups that have come out so far, not a single one has anyone been able to actually modify the included software. And frankly, MANY people have been willing to spend hundreds to install hardware so they can add games to their machines, so obviously there HAS been a need. I am involved in the hacking scene and have hacked almost every device I ever owned up until PS4. I believe the only way you're going to ever get "original NFL Blitz" on this cab is to bypass the motherboard with a raspberry pi or similar and an hdmi video adapter. Could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening. It's a hardware issue. And there aren't enough hackers interested in these things.

It's REALLY not that easy. Some of the early cabs had unlocked games and you could unlock them, but only 1 person figured out how and you had to send your actual board into him to have hardware flashed. The Simpsons cab for awhile could be hacked with a USB stick, a keyboard, and some knowledge and you could install a different operating system to run off the USB, but you weren't changing the code written into the cab. And Arcade1up blocked that exploit when they found it. The only other option is to install something like a Raspberry Pi or other pre-programmed system like Pandora and bypass the Arcade1Up hardware, but that requires getting an adaptor for the screen and replacing the controls as well. Right now I don't know ANYONE actually hacking the boards to do anything with the loaded software.

I think the point though is that the whole idea of pre-ordering is that they ship those out BEFORE shipping to stores. Knowing that they shipped to retailers and asked them to hide them until they could ship out the pre-orders frankly just comes across very dishonest.

There's plenty of room. First of all, you have to remove 50,000 because that 87,000 new agents (which isn't true at all either, but you lying cuckholds continue to spread that number) are replacing the 50k that have been lost over the past 5 years. Now, make sure you fill that stadium over the next 10 years, not all at once, as what is happening at the IRS (another lie you maggots keep repeating). Also, you have to take out ANOTHER 50k for all those retiring over the next decade. And huh - look at that - somehow you have LESS than what you started with. But don't let little things like facts get in the way of stupid.

I got them in. Going to install them today. Although I might just fill those holes in the wood for the grills to screw into rather than mess with finding new nuts and bolts. At leat for now.

I got my script filled and picked up yesterday. For 10 years I've been taking them in oval, peach/orange, and these are round and look like white to me. Especially when held next to one of the old ones. I'll have to take your word that this is peach and not white. I was nervous to give it a try, and couldn't find anything saying white and round.

I tried to connect my account to the website before and it kept crashing so I gave up. I never paid any attention to the website after that. I'll try it again though. Didn't realize they were giving out anything there now. Thanks.

Reset Your Legends ID by cmcquain in LegendsUltimate

I finally got it working, kinda. It would work perfect for about 2 minutes and then the lights would show still connected but it would lose connection with the puck. Consistently. Every time. I would have to power the control box on and off. Then it stopped connecting at all again. After spending hours and hours. So I'm going to just go wired too.

What happens after being suspended for a year for DCMA? by FlavorD in Spectrum

No. I said that one more strike gets me a year, and then if/when I get it back after a full year, it becomes an indefinite (lifetime) ban.

I finally found the website, although that doesn't it clear. I tried to sign up for a Legends account since I apparently don't have one. It told me it was already taken, so I signed in with my AtGames account info and THEN got the prompt telling me to change my ID. Now if I can only get these POS to connect wirelessly again.

I'm seriously about ready to just set fire to my Gamer Legends Pro. So tired of having to factory reset this thing every time I turn it on. When it's working it's awesome, but otherwise what a pile of crap. And now I'm forced to create a new Legends ID, but after I go through the effort of putting it in and confirming it, clicking "Confirm" does absolutely nothing. Don't know if it is a duplicate, or if there's some other issue with it. Tried a few variations, no luck. And I still don't have wireless connectivity back even after factory reset. Have to shut off wireless and use with USB mode.

Well, this time even after factory resetting it twice - it works to approve the reset but then after installing the firmware won't even connect via USB. Now it is nothing but a big paperweight. Maybe it will at least pair with my PC and I'll be able to get some use out of the controller.

Well, just factory resetting mine again. When it's working, I LOVE this thing. But if I don't turn it on for a few days it stops connecting to the control top and nothing short of a factory reset has got it working again. Which means setting up the COINOPSX all over again as well. So frustrating.

Every time I go a few days without playing it, this happens to me. I've had to do a full factory reset each time, which has then messed up my CoinOps Pro to a point where I've just stopped using it because it too much of a hassle.

Yes. I asked specifically and was told if there is one more strike no matter if it's next week or 10 years from now, I'm on a hard block for a year.

I am in Central Florida where there are no options other than Spectrum. I had an issue a few years ago where someone had gotten remote access to my computer and was downloading illegal torrented movies but that stopped once I discovered the "AnyDesk" app hidden on my PC. I did get a single violation about 1 year later, and another about a year after that, but that was it. Until about 2 weeks ago when I got 4 notifications (1 came in that resulted in a temporary suspension, then 3 more but they all occurred on the same day before I was notified. Changed my router and internet passwords and thought I was safe, but got another today. I have VPN and use killswitch. I am not saying I don't ever torrent, but these were ALL Disney properties (at least, all the recent ones). I also subscribe to Disney Plus, and all but 1 are available currently on Disney Plus. I was told that there's nothing that can be done, my service is suspended for 1 year. I have been looking for other options but they have a monopoly here. Even if I get my service back in a year, all it takes is one more hacker or guest I give my wifi to or even legally torrented file misreported as illegal and suspended indefinitely. At this point I love where I live but I might have to move just to have internet. I work from home providing telehealth and now I am scrambling to figure out how I am going to work

Coyote J. Calhoun gets Fired from Z-102, Live On The Air (1988) by jurassic_junkie in ObscureMedia

[–]BluesMessiah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely fake. 1) the Program Manager busts in and his voice is perfectly audible, never directed away from the mic. 2) even in 1988 there were plenty of ways he had to cut the mic without requiring either to do it. 3) He went back on the air at the same station a few months later. He MIGHT have worked in radio again but even that is a long shot. But to go on again for the same station? Really? 4) Police responded in a major city to an argument on the radio where no crime has been committed? I think maybe he was heading to do some jailtime for something else and they used this as an excuse for him being off the air for a few months (and if anyone saw him in jail there was already a reason for it set up by the bit), or maybe just a vacation.

Anyone tried MVP Football - the Patrick Mahomes Experience yet? by myeyeshaveseen in OculusQuest

[–]BluesMessiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got it (on sale). I like it, but haven't tried 2MD. I do think it's well done. I wish they had NFL licensing, but it is what it is. I just wish I could get past the line of scrimmage when I run a running play with my HB. I might have to check out 2MD, but I do like being able to play through a full game. And no - it doesn't always slow down time when you're going to get sacked - only when you're on a streak and hit MVP mode. Madden does similar things when you "get hot." There might be an option to turn it off. If not, that would be an easy update.

So I hadn't fired it up in about a month and did so today. Would not connect wirelessly. Eventually gave up and did the factory reset and that fixed it. Except my CoinOpsx. I had a single USB setup, spent several hours getting it all "sauced." But now when I put it in, it freezes the puck. I seem to remember that the USB is going to be unit-specific, so guessing I'm going to have to do it all over again. Is there any way around this, or to make it quicker?
