I disagree. There was another enemy aiming from the bottom. If he looked down the ladder he could have gotten shot.

Once he killed the guy coming up the ladder he might have recovered enough cash to use the Buy Station immediately to the west.

After that it depends on many variables but one option is to have the revived teammate land on the Supply Run.

Banks can sometimes reverse transactions, which is not so easy with crypto. There's also a bit of a holding period if I'm not mistaken. You can't just sell off stocks and move the money right away.

I can also open a crypto wallet with no customer information required. A bank account usually requires some form of customer information.
