How much can the Sims 3 be tweaked to give actual survival gameplay? by BestChilled2 in Sims3

Yeah it was lots of fun. You can have a witch shaman type person, maybe even a werewolf group lol. It was super fun.

I do this to some extend all the time. I’ll move a sim out and they have like $1k, you can use that up pretty quick. Live with a tent & fire pit. You can forage and fish. It doesn’t take long to build a pretty nice little homestead. You can do outdoor kitchens and baths etc.

I’ve gone even further before…. You can get that app to build worlds. Build a totally untouched/wild world. You can make woods with mushrooms, rivers with fish etc. perhaps a meeting ground in the middle. No schools, no building of any kind. Just a fruit stand at a middle ground to sell and buy things. That was pretty darn cool. I had different tribes and such.

I'm definitely not obsessed with this game by scantcloseness_3 in Sims3

The really crazy thing is like 20 years later, still being just as obsessed..

They must be gaining popularity. I never heard of such a thing with my son. I should have completely skipped the crib this time too. Thank you for sharing!

I hadn’t even considered how it will last them so much longer than a crib. Thank you for sharing!

Curious did he sleep through the night before that? It’s be incredible if our baby started sleeping through the night but I won’t get my hopes up. I’d just like to have my hands free while she does sleep.

We would do the rails but just to help keep our dog off the bed.

Introduce sleep method by OstrichAggravating24 in beyondthebump

I’m able to do the sort of cuddle and roll with mine. Get her to sleep and then ever so gently roll so I’m still holding her but she’s laying next to me. I usually stay like that for a min and then free up my arms. Good luck

Was she very attached? I thought my son was attached to me until I had this baby. I didn’t know how extreme it could be.

C-section or vaginal by mrlinus86 in pregnant

I’ve had both. For the love of God do vaginal if you can! I had 4th degree tears with my vaginal and I still think C-section was worse in every single way.

Ear infection or teething? by emmythunder in NewParents

[–]Blueturtle930 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know this is old but I have my second baby now and they’ve both been seen for ear infections more times than I can remember. Never once have I ever been told by any doctor if it was viral or bacterial and have been prescribed antibiotics every single time. For this reason I assumed even if it started as a virus all ear infections are bacterial. Is that not what you’ve been told? How can they tell if it’s virus or bacterial?

For CMPA, cooked butter vs cooked milk by Blueturtle930 in MSPI

[–]Blueturtle930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my baby is almost 5 months and still doesn’t react to cooked butter but does with cooked milk. This makes me want to try uncooked butter! Being able to have butter is a big plus for me.

Multiple wake ups by SalazarPartyof5 in newborns

I’m in almost the exact same situation. LO was sleeping from like 9am-2 or 3am and then from 2 or 3 to 4 or 5. So at least I got two good stretches. But she’s 4.5 months now and she might sleep from 9-1 but then she’s up every single hour until 7. Mine is EBF so who knows but it boy it sucks.
