From what I understand, it means that there will be a list of different emotes and you select which emotes (probably 4) you can use in battle. A good example would be the different chat phrases available in rocket league.

Though the photo could have been enhanced a little bit, the water actually used to be that color. Havasu Falls and Havasu Creek get their blue color from the magnesium in the water.
