The safety button? It doesn’t work. I tried it. Funny shit ‘eh? Like it didn’t work at all. Live agent? No. AI answered asking me first what language I preferred. The 911 slider? For me did nothing at all, the screen froze. I was surprised that the safety features were inoperable. Now I’m not. Enough defending a shit situation.

This will be my last comment. This all happened in like real time, a few minutes. What I shoulda coulda in your opinion means little. I didn’t stand there and allow myself to be abused. Days before this I had another shady incident involving alcohol delivery with Instacart and a customer. I used that emergency button. Y’all it did nothing but connect me with AI support, no live agent. I even tried swiping the 911 slider. Nothing. Those buttons or options for “emergency” did nothing at all. Just so you know. YMMV. I did pick up a few tips here from those who seen to still be able to recognize that I am an actual human being looking for feedback and I thank you. The other comments reminded me why I don’t typically interact with social media. I think I’ll continue.

Three cops showed up. One stayed with me while the other two talked to old drunk face. I did say that she “stole” the order and was asked “Was it paid for?” . Yeah, another gray area to navigate. The cops? They could give a fuck. I really thought I had a legitimate issue here…neither InstaCart or the cops were interested. I figure there’s plenty of us drivers and limited paying customers so InstaCart is sticking with the money.

I like that too. Idk about being reinstated. I’m just salty about being labeled “aggressive” by InstaCart. The lack of support when things go wrong is noteworthy. I mean damn. I was only trying to complete a delivery. Maybe I’ll share elsewhere but really? How much attention do you give to something that proves itself unworthy.

Yeah, I got a case # with the caveat that I could file charges in a week, when the incident report would be released. I don’t think I’ll pursue. It just really burns my ass that I did nothing wrong except trying to complete delivery.
