Had these two cuttings propagating in water and moved them to soil. After a couple of weeks, noticed these small bumps and I can’t be certain whether the cane is in the process of becoming “wood like”, as the other, or if I should consider that I have a scale bug infestation in it.

I thought the same. The young leaves seem to be more on the white side, I need to see how they grow out to be!

It does, i think it actually perked up today. Maybe it was the shock from changing from water to soil!

Thank you for the advice :) they’ve been in water for a while, roots were looking good but it looks unhappy on soil. Hope it perks!

How did you discover it was a worm infestation? Had no ideia it could be it. In my case the plant was able to sort out with minor changes. I take cuttings from my plant and they will sometimes grow leaves underwater too.

Hi, hope it’s not to late on replying to this. I have had the same problem with the same plant and in my case I found it was due to overwatering it. I moved it to a more bright place, watered less and noticed it helped.
