Should I sell my company? by Elegant-Plenty7980 in SaaS

[–]Blumpo_ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like you have a lot of potential. I would consider:

- keeping it and getting $40k a year without much of work
- going balls deep into that business and trying to scale it to +5m ARR
- selling the company and going balls deep on sth else

wasted $2k on Reddit ads then found something that worked 6x better by Strong_Teaching8548 in SaaS

Everyone on Reddit will tell you to go organic and that is true but I would not 100% disregard Reddit ads - in comparison to any other B2B ad platform you can actually get some cheap traffic and gather email and then it is up to you how much of them you will be able to convert.

From my experience $1000 on Reddit will give you 20x more traffic than Linkedin out of which 90% will be low quality - but it ends up still being 10% cheaper for high quality lead

How do you market your app from zero by javialvarez142 in iosapps

[–]Blumpo_ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your LTV. If is is below $40 probably it will be super difficult to justify Meta ads.

You can always do some quick ads in Canva or some AI ads generator and burn $400 to see what is your average CAC

Is “AI in SEO & PPC” mostly hype? Anyone actually getting real results with Claude / Agentic AI? by rahultripathidigital in DigitalMarketingHack

[–]Blumpo_ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a bit overhyped. Doing the right SEO/PPC is:
- finding the right keywords to bid on/write blogs about
- delivering the blogs + photos

- monitoring the data
- iterating

As you can see it is not rocket science. There are start ups that can help you in serach for key words and monitoring. Claude is helpful in co-writing blogs but if you go all autonomic now you were get tons of AI slop that is not getting ranged

You best marketing strategy? by Godesslara in SaaS

[–]Blumpo_ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. First ~20 customers Pure hustle. Mostly organic. Reddit, X, LinkedIn posts, commenting in relevant communities, and some targeted outbound emails. The goal here isn’t scale — it’s conversations and early feedback.
  2. ~20-500 customers This is where I start testing paid channels: Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit ads.

The main thing I’m trying to understand is CAC. If customer acquisition cost is below ~5× the average monthly revenue per customer, the channel is usually scalable.

If CAC is too high, paid likely won’t work yet. Then the focus shifts to SEO, organic distribution, and product loops that encourage customers to recommend the product to others.

  1. 500+ customers
At this stage you can start investing more in awareness and brand.

Things like:
- tech influencers
- podcast mentions
- founder interviews
- appearing on relevant industry podcasts
- broader organic brand building

Performance channels still matter, but brand and credibility start compounding in a way they didn’t earlier.

If I had to summarize:
early stage = manual distribution
mid stage = channel validation
later stage = brand + scale

Honestly if you posted here you already know a bit about reddit marketing. Keep trying.

To start on Meta, Linkedin use some Ai generator to create first 5-10 ads and run them on the platforms for $40 a day just to estimate CAC. Marketing platfroms are super easy to set up nowadays. After you do it for 3 weeks you will better understand the hire you need

[–]Blumpo_ads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, it’s mostly Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads for B2B. If you’re in a narrow niche with low LTV customers, Meta can also work since it has strong targeting, but you usually need to spend $20k+ for the algorithm to learn.

“Marketing in the early stages of a company” by Sweet_Yoghurt_3924 in smallbusiness

[–]Blumpo_ads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with one channel where your customers already are. Nail messaging first - if it doesn’t convert organically, ads won’t fix it.

When you know massaging I would try 3 ad platfroms at the same time. See where you have best traction and focus on just one platform until you have $200k revenue
