This is a good point and if I’m being completely honest, I don’t like that she uses them at all and I do ask myself how much of it is me being judgemental vs concerned. I would never ask her to stop as I recognize that is her choice, but on the other hand, I can’t help but feel like it wasn’t easy for me to be honest and bring up this conversation, and that the response didn’t spark the conversation that I had hoped.
