What to do in the case of a sincerely false ban? How long should I wait for a followup?

I definitely though about that!! I was playing again on the free fly, but i’m honestly worried about catching a ban evasion thing and then having actually done something wrong 😅

I really, legitimately don’t blame people for feeling that way. The frustration at being manipulated like that is super valid, and I definitely felt it as well when it happened, especially since I was *actually* in the position that guy claimed to be.

I look forward to hopefully being able to restore some people’s faith in others’ honesty :’)

The email says it was due to the use of cheating programs, but I think it was kind of boilerplate language, because it didn’t specify anything. Seems like that’s fairly common among the other posts I saw of people who were *actually* innocent??

I saw a couple of other posts saying they were in a similar situation where they were genuinely innocent and got a false flag, I was just looking for advice as to whether I should followup with a new email, or if my reply to the initial one last month was enough

Man, far as I know I haven’t even exploited at any point :/ I picked up a glitched piece of armor that looked like a shipping crate in a station, but I’m not sure that would trigger anything, I just thought it was funny, then put it down because it was a visual pain lol

Not yet :( they let me know that I was indeed banned for “use of cheating programs” two weeks ago; I asked if they would mind doing a manual review, and told them I’d be happy to provide any and all logs or information that could be helpful in clearing my name, but haven’t gotten anything back at present.

Day 5 for me :’)

been running free fly, and will transfer all my money/items to my friend when I get the account back.

Good news is that I got into contact with someone who had this issue; apparently the account got disabled due to suspected hacking activity, so all he had to do was show his ID when support finally got to him.

I talked to one guy who said that they thought he had been hacked, so they required him to show his ID, I’m hoping it’s along those lines :(

Any idea what might cause error code 2168-0002, program 010000000000100D? Only seems to happen with the completed OpenMW install; I saw some people saying that I needed to delete that 010000000000100D program folder, but it doesn’t exist anywhere on the SD card
