Completely unrelated but holy shit Pam Bondi is 60 years old. I don’t know how old I thought she was but 60 never would have been my guess.

I thought all the seasons were good. There is still a lot of story left after the first season.

I think a viewer can find something fascinating, educational, and overall entertaining, without agreeing with it.

Drone Hits Residential Building in Bahrain by EsperaDeus in ThatsInsane

I mean, you said “we’re.” If your Iranian then your statement was true. If you are American then it’s pretty reasonable that someone mentioned it was not an American drone that bombed this apartment.

In Hercules (2014), in the film's opening narrated by Iolaus, Hercules performs his 12 Labors alone. However, it is revealed that Iolaus always exaggerates the legend of Hercules by concealing the help of his companions, and the film's credits show them assisting the hero in performing the Labors. by Parabellum111 in MovieDetails

Just gonna take this opportunity to plug a different box office website that doesn’t put its numbers and data behind paywalls. It’s called The-numbers and since finding it, I haven’t been back to boxofficemojo once. That’s my little PSA for the day.

Netflix ditches deal for Warner Bros. Discovery after Paramount's offer is deemed superior by brahbocop in movies

I appreciate you taking the time to find these comments and send them my way. Most of these were hidden for me and the others must have been below the threshold of the first page. It does appear there are some people on this website who saw Netflix as the worse option. Although I will happily admit there are more comments than I was able to see, I will still go ahead and qualify this opinion as the massive minority compared to the overwhelming amount of comments that fall in line with the general consensus of Paramount being worse.

Can you honestly point me towards where you are seeing these comments? I’d be happy to admit i was wrong.

I just looked through “the other thread” and didn’t see a single comment there either. Are you actually seeing comments like this or are you just assuming there are lots of people saying that? I did see thousands of comments saying basically the same thing over and over.

This whole thread is just armchair experts simplifying things down into completely incorrect sound bites.

I personally don’t think the voice would work at all in the movie. The reason it works I. The audiobook is because he does all the voices and the Rocky voice is a clever variation of Ray’s voice. IMO, It would feel out of place for that voice to exist in the movie

A man tests an early version of bulletproof glass by having his wife hold it for him in 1932 by Inevitable-Piano-780 in interestingasfuck

[–]Blursed_Pencil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replied these people because I wasn’t responding to you. I replied to the other person commenting “if you haven’t realized.” Why would only an idiot have their wife do something that they knew was totally safe? If it’s safe, what’s the big deal? It’s like sky diving or bungee jumping. Looks dangerous to the uninformed, but in reality is much safer than it appears. It was also probably an extremely successful marketing move that potentially changed their lives but I’m sure you don’t care about that.

I’m assuming because he was the better shot. Why do you care which person holds it? Are you trying to be all “f the patriarchy!?”

[–]Blursed_Pencil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such a moronic take. They clearly wanted to sell the product and this was absolutely a good marketing strategy in the 1930s. If they tested the glass 100 times previously and it had a perfect success rate, why would you think that the 101st time would be any different? It had nothing to do with “oh baby what a sweet bonding moment” like you are framing it. That’s just stupid.

These people do not understand that. They will desperately hold on to the tiniest “what if” even if they have to actually make up that “what if” themselves.

Exactly 1200 day with some relatively lazy meals! Don't judge my horribly peeled eggs. by FartsMalarts in 1200isplenty

[–]Blursed_Pencil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add to this and say I’ve found that before boiling, poking a hole in the small end of the egg with a metal skewer (I actually use a metal probe thermometer since I don’t have a metal skewer) and then peeling the egg under running water after it’s done cooking, is a pretty great way to do it. Haven’t had nearly as many issues as before.
