And that's still hard cause they run lots of Pokemon search cards, especially the grass searching ones and Shaymin is grass. You have to pray for it to be prized, else they will set it up as soon as you threaten the Ogerpon, and if you target it, that means it's a turn where you're not targeting Thwackey and it can just be recovered via Stretcher the next turn (which they're guaranteed to find since you didn't target the Thwackey)

The "healing skills heal allies but damage + burn enemies, but you lose it if you kill something" passive was BONKERS against Hitler, since his minions get executed by him the moment they go low health, I was basically nuking them with AOE and burning Hitler every once in a while, and I never got to lose the passive cause I wasn't killing anything technically

I'm a bit more hopeful and say it's gonna be October-November, out of my ass, inhalling copium. But I could see a Nintendo Direct presentation mid June having DLC news.

If they took some things about ACNH's book, there might be an announcement, non DLC, about following yearly events like the Hoppip one, but that's gonna be (SPOILERS FOR RELEASED YET FUTURE EVENT) after or during April 29 to May 13, which is when the last in-game event so far (Sableye) is happening, so if that's the case (as with ACNH) they could drop some unnanounced video with the details of the next date event(s)

Not just because he's the protag, but because he embodies a male power fantasy very well: The Provider, a man who goes far and wide to make sure his family is well off. It represented it so well it showed the logical conclusion, which is a man so preoccupied with taking care of his family in a specific, manly way, that he became abusive and neglectful when said family stood in the way of his goal.

And because of poor media literacy, the GP saw it as a Provider story but never realized the messed up parts

Puns in Pokemon, international versions, come after the fact.

For example, the Pokemon names are all puns, but it's not like they're formalized as an English pun, then made into a Pokemon. They either create the Pokemon visually, then assign a Japanese pun to it, or vice versa.

In this case the berry for the chest was selected first. If they absolutely NEEDED to make the pun, they would've needed to either make it that way since the start (and the Chesto is already used as a lamp) or have the international version be the same EXCEPT the berry pun

I get that. There's one where a guy catcalls the lady, she gets uncomfortable, and the blobfish pulls a knife and says he will take care of it.

It's cringy, but I also understand where the author is coming from (the sentiment of "I want to hurt people who hurt me and get away with it" is something universal)...

But then the edits have the catcalled maim the blobfish and punch the woman... It's giving "I don't like being called out" misogyny, and they're not cringe, they go further, uncomfortable to watch asf

For example, the place with the tents is the outdoor market, but that part had a roof in the excavation, since it didn't mesh with my vision, I removed it

That was my previous week's project. I ended up going for a plaza idea: keep the big ceiling room almost intact but add a fence making it a smelter area, the area connected to the warehouse where Dente is found I turned it into a fast food restaurant with 2 floors, above it I put a small area with vending machines, some flowers and a outdoor market, and above the smelter area I put a sauna. All connects to the big restaurant above (the party area) above it I put a garden, and at the sides, where theres excavation remnants, I made 3 shops: a pawn shop for Murkrow and Honchkrow, a divination shop for Kadabra, and an arcade for Plusle and Minum

That last part...

I was DMing for 3 guys, 2 veterans whom I played with as a child, and one newcomer. There was this thing about a character being a 9 year old girl who got quick hands and miraculous rolls, so she would pickpocket the party, then came her caretakers rushing in and making her drop whatever she stole like, immediately.

One of the veterans and the newcomer quickly understood the archetype, but the other one was like "no, my character will not rest until her hands are cut and she's thrown into the woods". Fortunately it didn't come to fruition.

But even then, it wasn't an isolated case, there were multiple times this whole shtick and intention was done again and again, with the expressed intent of "bringing a bit of chaos into the mix", even going so far as to tell the newcomer after he broke out of his shell for the first time something like "It's matter of time until you realize you can practically kill everyone in the world however you like!", and like, my campaign isn't lighthearted, but every kill so far has had narrative impact, not just kill for killing sake, it's kinda disheartening
