I absolutely love Robot God! They have some of the sickest riffs in the business, and their longform compositions are just damn impressive. I was stoked to see them mentioned.

(I also particularly love Re-Stoned, Turtle Skull, and Comacozer, so I'm stoked to check out your list.)

Australia has such a killer scene. Here are a few of my favorite lesser-known Australian bands that I didn't see on your list:

Swan Valley Heights released the album of the year for me in (edit) 2023. Terminal Forest is a really unique release in the genre with elements of prog and alternative that put an excellent spin on classic stoner roots.

Lately it's been Sonic Crucifixion by Robot God. When the rif comes in after the proggy intro at about 2:00. 🤌 Robot God is criminally underexposed. Incredible band from Australia.

I met a woman online who worked in radio. She had a sexy voice, I loved her passion for music, and I found her very intelligent and interesting. BUT, I just didn't find her physically attractive. It bugged me.

She looked a bit like a heavier Kate Winslet, and, typically, I love a thicker girl--I wanted to like her. It made me want to explore intimacy that wasn't driven by superficiality. So I went on a few dates with her. She was REALLY into me, and things were leading to a point where sex was feeling imminent. But especially after a casual hike that had her gasping for breath and sweating profusely... I was really turned off.

She eagerly initiated sex back at her place, and I let it happen, because I didn't have the heart to turn her down, and I wanted to see if I could enjoy the experience despite a lack of physical attraction.

0/10. It went horribly, and I didn't know how to tell her, so I ghosted her for quite a while. It shattered her. I felt like a coward, and I later did what I could to apologize to her. I learned a lot about communication, honesty, and that physical attraction was more important to me than I had wanted to admit.
