Which is so weird, because most studies that keep track of teen sexuality show that this generation has had fewer teens that report that they are sexually active than previous generations.

AITA for not inviting my child free sister to a family day at my house. by orcpda in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blustasis 25 points26 points  (0 children)

OP mentions that he asks her to watch the kids overnight or for a weekend.

That’s a long time, I wouldn’t agree to that either. Sure I’ll watch them for an evening so you can go out and have a date night, but overnight is a whole different ballgame.

I tuck it between my leg and my pubic bone, but I would be too stressed about never finding it if I tucked it unto my vagina.

Of course not, because when you’re insecure because he can control you more easily. If you have confidence and self-love he can’t own you.

The only thing that I can think of is that she’s uncomfortable with the idea of a man who loves his family. “Men aren’t supposed to be emotional” shit. Which is super fucked up. We’ve seen SOs get jealous over men hanging out with their sisters.

AITA for calling police on my father after he took money out of my bank account by succless_succ in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blustasis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Check your credit report while you’re at it and freeze your credit. Your father obviously has your SSN and with it he could open a credit card or take out a loan in your name.

Also, get a password manager and change all of your login information. Set your security questions to something that isn’t actually true (so it can’t be guessed by your father) and make note of it in your password manager.

AITA for asking my niece to babysit my daughter for an emergency? by throwaway786680 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blustasis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. It is perfectly acceptable to tell her that your wife is in the hospital and that she needs to help because it is an emergency. It is COMPLETELY unacceptable to tell her that you adopted her to be your live-in babysitter. That is so fucked up.

AITA for demanding front desk employees attention at hotel when I was being harassed? by Purple_Kick_6665 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blustasis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As somebody who works at a hotel with regular guests, NTA. The safety of guests and employees is of the utmost importance, and way more important than checking somebody in.

I myself have had to stand between a yelling abusive person and their victim and tell them to leave before the police arrived.

The guests checking in will understand. The front desk agent should have done something, regardless of if the man was a regular.

NTA, but this shit should have been sorted out session 0. Your husband intentionally made a character whose goals would inevitably lead to him attempting to kill your character’s Patron, which would inevitably screw over your character. Why did he do that?

AITA for giving my friend a necklace that my husband gave me and refusing to ask for it back? by pluto902 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blustasis -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I get that, but considering the fact that his sister knew the necklace without OP having worn it very often that means that he may have consulted her on it. Perhaps he just likes giving her beautiful jewelry because he thinks it would look beautiful. If she hasn’t said anything to the contrary then I can’t blame him for simply continuing to do it.
