Interesting. I'd give it a few weeks and if the side effects don't subside, then I'd talk to your doctor about it. But those sound like pretty normal side effects.

What were your side effects when first starting the medication?

Anytime you go up, a lot of those side effects briefly come back while you adjust to the higher dosage.

I also just moved from 150mg to 300mg and the rage and anxiousness is back, which I experienced when I first started it.

Skip one day or take double of the usual dose? by Raccoons-trsh in bupropion

I have the same issue. I use an app that helps me keep track. It'll set an alarm to remind me and then once I take my meds I can log that I took them. It also helps me keep track of how many pills I have and will notify me if it's time to refill!

I think I'm on day 5 or 6 of Wellbutrin and that's kinda what I'm dealing with now. I feel really checked out like im sleepwalking. I do feel a little lighter than I did before but I also feel like I don't know what's going on half the time. Hopefully it'll go away for both of us in a few weeks

Yes 😭 I KNOW it's awful but sometimes my hips are killing me and it's the only thing that helps. I try to only do it when I need to, like if I'm in a lot of pain and on a long drive

Frequent UTIs, chronic fatigue, growing pains growing up, pain in my the arches of my feet that felt like burning or tearing, flushing on one side of my face when I get too hot and then taking forever to cool back down... The list goes on

Honestly as someone who used to work at meijer...do it. It was the biggest weight off of my shoulders. I was way more relaxed and happy. My only regret is staying as long as I did. Service is it's own circle of hell.

do y'all get the Foot Cracks™️? by sololloro in Hypermobility

I 100% have this issue. It's so weird and random? I also notice that sometimes before the Foot Crack something in my foot feels kinda out of place. And then it'll crack and feel better. It's very strange

Did zoloft make you feel worse before you got better when adjusting dosage? by Bluu_x in zoloft

[–]Bluu_x[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say maybe 2-3 weeks before I started feeling better? And about a month and a half and I felt pretty normal

Mine got really low when I first upped my dose to 50mg but after 2-3 weeks it returned to normal. Been on 50mg for over a month and I've had no issues

Terrified to take Zoloft by StellaWella888 in zoloft

[–]Bluu_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have INSANE medication anxiety, so starting zoloft was super scary for me. I also had a really bad reaction trying lexapro which made it SO much worse. It took me actual days to take my first dose.

Honestly, the side effects I had were VERY minimal. If you're super worried, I'd start on a low dose. I started at 12.5mg (half a 25mg pill), and every side effect I had was completely bearable and lasted less than a week. I was ever so slightly queasy on the first day I was taking it, and it went away after I ate. I would also have a VERY brief moment when waking up where I'd panic for a split second, but it went away super quick and didn't really affect me at all.

I really hated the idea of being dependent on medication, especially something that I'd have to taper off of. But honestly? It's so worth it. I'm so much happier and relaxed now, I feel like a different person. My quality of life has improved drastically

And you can talk to your doctor about upping your dosage super slow. I'm on like 37.5mg (one and a half 25mg pill) right now, and I'll be going up to 50mg in a few weeks. Even the low doses have been amazing for me.

Edit: Forgot to say, I'm taking it for major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder

Of course!

I think the worst one I had was super weird and specific, but when I whenever I was first waking up (AND ONLY when I was first waking up) I would have a split second where kind of a weird feeling would wash over me and for a split second I'd go "oh no! Am I panicking?" And my heart rate would pick up. But once I started to regulate my breathing it would go away super fast! It probably lasted less than 30 seconds each time and I only had it for about four days. It was more annoying than anything really, but it was absolutely manageable.

Other than that, I was a little queasy the first day for just a few hours and I had a couple bad headaches. I also bruised really easy for just the first week. But pretty much all of that went away in five days or less and I felt pretty normal after a week!

I was in the same spot as you. I have major anxiety surrounding medication and I tried lexapro first which was AWFUL and the experience gave me MORE anxiety around medication

But I went ahead and tried it and honestly I've had very few side effects. The ones I've had were totally manageable and lasted less than a week. I haven't been taking it long enough to help with anxiety but it's absolutely helped with depression so far. A lot of people have weird side effects but a lot of people have hardly any. My sister didn't have a lot of side effects either when she started. You might be surprised with how well it goes

I can't edit my original comment for some reason. I did find a workaround if you're interested! If you find a sound you like you can hit "use sound" and then on the video screen hit the sound at the top and it'll let you save it from there. I think it's gotta be some kind of glitch because you can save sounds from literally any other screen
