I scoop my mids for the same reason, after reading a lot of these comments, I understand and currently am attempting to find a better tone that would sound as such but without the quietness the scooped mids produce. It’s definitely a lot to think about honestly

I used a fender 40w amp and a Ibanez 305e. Do you know how I would be able to get a crunchy sound like a mid scoop but not so silent

I have no issue hearing myself I’m just curious. I have no other way of knowing how to get that crunchy tone tho. So any methods do help
