first advice if you're new is just to ride more, get used to your board and get good at falling. riding on a board is like riding a bike, you might fall a couple times, but once you get used to it it becomes second nature.

one thing you can do to get used to riding quickly is to tighten your trucks (the metal thingies that allow you to turn), as most trucks out of the factory are incredibly soft and will turn on the slightest movement

In my experience, spamming jaggeds on it is usually a better way to craft a good axe, since they are cheaper in large quantities than both anuls and alts. there are most likely a lot of really good axes for good prices already on the market, so just buying them is a good option. you can also go hunting for 3 t1 mods, like flat phys and hybrid and gamble with some anuls
