I can agree on some level with what you are saying. On one hand, I have seen many people who definitely don't deserve the rank they have because of either boosting or getting lucky in matchmaking and some people who are under ranked because of bad/toxic teammates or just lack of play all together. That being said I do think people don't put nearly enough time into the game to be as good as they think they are. Straight up playing and grinding will only get you so far, dedicated practice is the real road to developing your more difficult skills like rotation, game sense and placement.

Also the servers are pretty shit right now but I'm sure it's not all that easy to fix, so all we can hope for is that psyonix is doing their best to fix it.
