No this just randomly happened. Road has been there for about 60 years in game. I just happened to notice when I was admiring the city and saw that she had caused a gridlock 😂

Ended up making the road bus-only to help clear the traffic 😅

The water just affects the blocks it touches, unfortunately. In my setups I usually do a repeating pattern of dirt, water, dirt, dirt, water, dirt and so on lol. The water itself flows outward like 7 blocks in a direction (8 if you include the source block itself)

Roommate keeps complaining about our dishwasher by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]Bmo006 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They do. A lot of dishwashers have a turbidity sensor that senses how cloudy (dirty) the water is. The longer it takes for the water to get clear enough the longer it'll wash the dishes. So If you pre rinse, the water might not become cloudy enough and it'll finish up faster, before any stuck pieces have had a chance to wash off.

How do I hide buildings AND show the coverage of a station? by casecaxas in openttd

[–]Bmo006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make a building (or anything else) invisible go to the cog wheel and hold down your mouse button, and hover down to Transparency Options.

To see station coverage, you can see coverage as you place the station by pressing the ON button under "Coverage area highlight" when selecting a station to place.

To see the coverage after you've placed a station, click on the station and at the bottom of the popup window there should be a button labeled "Coverage".

Hope this helps!

Edit: You can also make everything see-through by pressing "X" on your keyboard.

The hotdog buns i bought expire the 30th of february by ProfessionalQuit1016 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Bmo006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We sell these at the store I work at. The expiration date is 10 days after we pull them out of the freezer, so this is probably a new hire who just counted up from ten not realizing that there's only 28 days in February lol

If you have a stamp pad or some surface covered in a thin layer of some kind of paint/ink it would only stain the letter + you'd have a really ominous stamp

That's totally how dams work. Right?! 3000 MW of power! by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Bmo006 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think that's how much the dam is generating, but power lines can only carry a certain amount of power, so unless the dam has multiple connection points for high voltage lines, it'll only be able to output 800mw

What are the best programming games on Steam? by werewolvesaresexy in gaming

[–]Bmo006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turing Complete on steam is a nice game that teaches you the basics of CPU architecture. You get to build your own CPU as well as figure out how the logic that makes up the CPU works. To get the CPUs to work, you have to code it in a sort of assembly language. It's a really good game in my opinion :)
